"The room was small and outdated. Worst of all was there are no blackout curtains. The sun was coming up at 4:30am so I was wide awake by 4;45am. Not fun. Left me tired all day!"

"I preface this review by saying the room cost over £600 for 2 nights and needs to be judged as such. For that price I expect far better than what I got. We gave our name to check in and the first thing I was told by the receptionist was that my card had been declined, but I hadn't given any card to reception. Plus, the room was paid in full. After the receptionist confirmed this was true I asked if I needed to add my card to the room since we would be spending on site. I was told no card was necessary and we could pay as and when we bought things. We went to the bar for a drink and was told they don't take cards or cash, only room keys. So I had to go back to the receptionist to add the card to the room. The room... hairs on the towel, hairs in the shower and the table in the room hadn't been wiped and was sticky. The shampoo bottle was just an empty bottle with zero shampoo inside. For £100/night these issues wouldn't be a problem, but £300/night they are unacceptable. The one good thing is the lady host running breakfast was fabulous. And the breakfast food is nice too."

"We got immediate access to the property which was spotless and as per the advert. We received a warm welcome to the property just after arrival. The rooms are a bit smaller than the pictures make out but maybe that was our imagination. Note the shower room is inside the main bedroom. The bunks are more for children of 14 years or below, our older teenagers struggled with their length. Even though the kitchen is small it had all you needed for breakfast & lunch. Only microwave for cooking hot meals but we knew this in advance as we planned to eat out. A great place for exploring Inverness and the area with nice walks to Culloden village. Highly recommend if you are on a tight budget and place to sleep for a few nights."

"I stayed 2 days. The pillows and the bed were comfortable and the breakfast was good with lots of food choices. The dinner menu had basic bar food and was reasonably priced. I was on the 2nd floor and the elevator worked just fine. I would stay there again."

"This VRBO is in a new town we weren't sure what to expect- the town was lovely but the accommodation exceeding any expectations that we had. Clean and so tastefully decorated.We had a little trouble finding it with our GPS but we called Al lister and he directed us.We had trouble with the tv, so the only recommendation we have is to have some helpful hints for the tv,This truly was a memorable spot to stay.... we are still talking about the cleanliness. Thanks for making our stay in the Inverness area memorable."
