Situated in the heart of Cessnock, Florence Cottage is a charming four-bedroom Federation period home that offers guests home-style comforts and convenient access to the surrounding region. Embodying the charm of yesteryear, Florence Cottage is ideally suited to romantic getaways, family holidays, business trips and bridal parties. Hunter Valley wineries, gardens and concert venues are only a short drive away, while local amenities are within walking distance, including supermarkets, food outlets and a family friendly public swimming pool.

However you choose to spend your time, Florence Cottage will be your home away from home. Cook up a spot of breakfast in the cozy kitchen, stocked with cutlery, crockery and appliances. Curl up in the living room to read a book, dappled with colourful light from the stained glass windows. Let the kids run free in the large backyard or take a short walk to the nearby swimming pool. There is ample space in the dining room to share dinner with family or friends at the end of a fun day out, or a quiet day in. Take your choice of a relaxing bath or shower with towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied.

Florence Cottage comfortably sleeps up to 7 people, with two queen rooms, one double room and one single bed- all with linen supplied. A portacot is available along with a baby and toddler booster chair for meals.

Beautiful home in a great location. Very spacious and perfect for our group of 4 ladies exploring all the local wineries etc in the Hunter Valley. Walking distance to shops and eateries as well. WIFI would be an added bonus. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again

A magical getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous house, It was clean, charming, and the perfect spot for a family getaway. The house is fully equipped for families, with comfortable beds, toiletries, plenty of crockery, a cot and high chair for our little one, plus a spacious backyard for the kids to play in. We all loved it and wanted for nothing. I'll be looking to book this again next time we want to visit the Hunter Valley. The location is ideal, just 8 minutes from the vineyards, and close to restaurants, shops, and markets.Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for families looking for a peaceful and convenient retreat for the weekend or even longer. Highly recommend!

Fabulous cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Florence cottage. Beautifully appointed home with lots of character from the stained windows, grape vine in the garden, to the original stove in the kitchen. Lovely furniture and equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants and easy to get to Hunter Valley wineries and attractions. We traveled with children and the property was very family friendly. Beds were comfortable and hotel grade sheets and linen were a lovely touch. Jodie was very responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip.

Lovely Clean House

The house was very clean. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. Easy to access shops there was a small bit of traffic noise but it was the night of the Cessnock Show so seems acceptable.
