Room was tiny. Barely enough room to turn around. Sliding bathroom door blocked neither the light nor the sound from inside. The mattresses on both twin beds need to be replaced. There is no check-in office. They leave the key in your room with the door open. Would not have known this without running into a worker by chance. The outside is very dark. If we had shown up after dark, not knowing which room was ours, we would have been in trouble!

Rooms were clean and minimalist. Beautifully landscaped grounds with inviting fire pits, shuffleboard, horseshoes, Adirondack chairs, hammock and children's area.

The noise level throughout was disappointing. We heard the people couple talked and snore. It was difficult to get a good night sleep if you needed to get up early to catch a flight out.

Appreciated the very clean rooms (had to switch rooms mid-stay). Missing screens in some of the windows which was disappointing as fresh air is a huge plus! Some of the furniture could use replacement, but it was functional and served the basic needs. Beds very comfortable. Cleaning staff very friendly.

Enjoyed the shuffleboard and the fire pit. If we had another day we would enjoy Horseshoes and Cornhole. The staff is extremely nice. Place in clean in rooms and grounds. Fire pits have a started bucket and all that is needed. The flowers and color full Adirondack chairs really add to the comfortable atmosphere. We will certainly be back !!!! A must stay location a few miles away from the beaches. Great place!!!

Great motel close to Charleston beach.

What a quaint, family oriented place. Everything you need, close to everything, very clean, very safe. Plus dog, friendly! Just a heads up; the website says $35 per day is the fee for a dog. I got charged $40 per day, which is a big difference.

A gem of a place!

We loved the place--modern, attractive, well-kept, clean and comfortable (except for the coffee table), and the grounds were beautiful and obviously well-cared-for. We had a unit with a kitchenette, and it was well-equipped with pots and pans, dishes, etc. It even had a washer and dryer! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Five stars!

This Mom and Pop hotel is perfect if you’re on your own. I was greeted by the nicest hotel neighbors and we shared a bonfire later. I felt right at home.
