Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. Whether you’re on a romantic getaway, a staycation or exploring the city, this guesthouse provides you the comfort of home and the luxury of a hotel, all within a secluded enclave of one of the most popular neighborhoods in Charlotte.

This guesthouse sits hidden in the middle of Plaza Midwood, complete with parking and even has an optional private entrance for guests. French doors open to the outdoor space, which has a fire pit, a dining area and is a perfect accompaniment to the guesthouse's floor plan.

The 55-inch television swivels a complete 180 degrees so guests can enjoy whether sitting inside the space or out on the patio. The kitchen has all the amenities you could need - full-size refrigerator, convection oven, Nespresso machine for coffee and espresso, hotplate for cooking and plenty of kitchenware.

The wooden wardrobe opens to reveal a queen-size bed with a comfortably soft, 12-inch, memory-foam mattress. The bathroom has a large skylight that pulls in ample sunlight, making the space bright and inviting guests to enjoy the shower, which has floor to ceiling tile and a retro sink.

Great Plaza Midwood location

The location was excellent! Close to many coffee shops and restaurants and in a charming neighborhood, fun to walk around and explore.We were unable to lock the door from the outside with the code, and no keys were provided for the lock below. The coded deadbolt lock required pressure on the joint, which we never got the knack of doing properly. The place, although clean, gave the impression that someone lived there and had recently exited. There was some food/milk in the refrigerator, personal items in the one bathroom drawer. The dispenser in the shower needed refilling. We used all of our own body wash and shampoo. We did not use any of the appliances or touch the personal items/food. We each had only one bath towel for a 3-night stay, no mat for the bathroom floor. The owner was very nice, responsive, and locked the door for us each time we left for the day.

The property had a great location. The bathroom was modern and clean. There was a Murphy bed which I wasn’t aware of or I would not have booked. The main room was clean and the sheets were clean. The couch was comfortable. The kitchen needed a clean up. I had a bit of a hard time getting a train de from the contact person. I think this rental has great potential it needs a bit spiffing up and better communication

Bumpy start, but ended pretty okay

The unit was not cleaned when we arrived, but Trey had people on it quickly. When we returned from a concert, the unit looked great. The drawbacks were only 1 bath towel, no bathroom rug for shower, and no Kleenex in the bathroom. The pillows were very flat. The location was great and was fairly easy to access.

Trey was a terrific, responsive host. This a cozy, inviting place in a fun, energetic neighborhood in Charlotte. Next time I’m the Plaza Midwood area, I’m looking to stay here.

Luke Bryan Weekend Adventure

I absolutely love the attention that has been given to every detail in this unit. The fact that you can swing the television around and sit outside of the fire pit and watch a movie, I also love the amenities in the little kitchen, and the shower is to die for. I will definitely return again soon to this location.

Very cute & Great Location

We came in from South Carolina for the USC/UNC game. It was very clean and the bed more comfortable than I expected. Great location as driving to the game was about 10 minutes. Several restaurants and stores within walking distance. I definitely would stay here again.

This property is in an excellent location, with so many attractions and places to eat and drink nearby. It is a little hard to find, but really isn’t, if you read the directions that Mr. Tillman gives you. The property is very clean and very well maintained, in the heart of Charlotte.
