Both taxis and buses are located outside of the Terminal 1 arrivals area. The train is another viable option, as the airport is connected to the city center by the S-bahn, specifically Lines S2 and S3, which will bring you to Stuttgart Central Station. The train terminal is located on the first level of Terminal 1. A final option is to rent a car and take on the autobahn yourself! To do this, head over to the arrivals level in Terminal 3.
