I did not stay! They had THE most mean and inappropriate front desk man working there checking people in! He was going off on how much he's been through in the military and his 2 divorces and kept calling me ma'am after I asked him not to since Im non-binary. All this was a melt down because I expressed CALMLY my disappointment the rooms had no bathtubs when their ad pictures implied they had. I had a long day working at my physical outdoor job and desperately needed to soak my soar muscles, which was why I treated my self to a way more expensive hotel than I usually book while Im on a work road trip. I usually stay at motel 6 and lots of them had showers only. I even was going to go ahead stay when I learned about a gym near by w a hot tub, but this guy was nasty to me, I just couldnt let myself stay so I took his offer to give me my money back, but said he was having trouble because I booked it on here, but I PAID at the property! What a horrible disappointment! Thankfully I found a nice place across the street with bathtubs and a much kinder understanding staff! I was told by them that Gator Den has a history of being jerks and over priced! If you are ever in this town stay at there at the Dinner Bell instead!

The room was awesome 👌 clean and truly the most perfect temperature for the season. It was so bitter cold outside and inside the room was a safe haven. I dont even think i could get my home temperature that cozy. Second time staying and its always been one of my favorite spots

The staff was very courteous and the rooms were clean. However, we had to switch rooms due to the air and other accessories not working. The room we moved to air didn't really work either, but it was such a production to get help the first time between everything we just decided to just live with it.

Everything functioned in the room, could have been cleaner. The floors were filthy and the coffee pot and ice bucket had not been cleaned, nor the switches and lamps. There were stains on the coverlet, the sheets looked clean. The staff was friendly and the room was ready on time.

Great hotel, staff, and the rooms were newly remodeled. Right on the river, you can rent a variety of boats. You absolutely have to eat at The Blue Gator on property. Highly recommend the peel and eat shrimp!

I was unexpectedly amazed with the Gator Den Motel being as clean and modernized as it was. It's not your run of the mill, i.e., the shower, the huge TV, obviously newly renovated, the walls even looked freshly painted, the bed was grand and quite comfy. The only thing negative is the rather large, well lit (too well lit) EXIT sign over the door, even throwing a towel over it was not enough when you like a really dark room at night. An overall comfortable room, bring a eye mask.
