"We stayed in the Woodland cottages, which was right across from Mammoth Cave visitors Center parking lot - so the proximity was great - however trying to find parking on a weekend was hard. The cabin itself was exactly what you'd expect a cabin to be - no frill electronics, but did have a heater/ac...a mini fridge and coffee. I would stay again."

"You’re about 15 min from the park. We arrived and had to turn off the lights since they were flickering… toilet was running, breakfast was some stale toast or stale cereal. Just pay the $20 and stay somewhere else "

"Our family enjoyed the home. The kitchen was well stocked for family dinners. The beds were absolutely on point for comfort. Very clean home and great communication with the owner. Our only complaint was there were no towels in the rooms upon arrival. ALL the towels were in the dryer and not in rooms but damp upon arrival in the dryer. We split those and dried periodically upon our arrival. Very easy check in and check out. Great local meals at Buoys and supplies at Dollar General. We were disappointed to see the lake be drained, and without water, but it must be a seasonal thing. We learned they filled again around Memorial Day. We missed this in any home details. The home does have a view of the lake, but I would be surprised if there were was a view during the summer when the leaves are on. Overall, a beautiful and well stocked home approximately 45 minutes from Mammoth or other tourist attractions. "
