Launched in July 2024, this beautifully designed 2-bedroom, 1-bath guesthouse is located on the ground level of a lovingly restored historic home built in 1900. Offering 850 sq. ft. of stylish, comfortable living space, it’s the perfect retreat situated in a very private cul-de-sac between Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs.

The guesthouse is completely private, with its own entrance and outdoor space, separate from the upper home where the owner resides (though he frequently travels to the West Coast).

Our home is professionally cleaned and staged, with linens and towels laundered to the highest standard.

This guest home is located on the lower level of the host’s home close to the entrance to Garden of the Gods. It was clean and comfortable with many special touches. The living room has a beautiful view of the mountains, Pikes Peak, and occasional grazing mule deer. Check-in and check-out was easy and well communicated by the host. The host was nice, responsive to any questions, and also provided recommendations for places to eat and things to see. Definitely recommend this property.

Basement apartment only! Owner lives upstairs and shares hot tub (you must text before using/he texts you before using). This was not apparent to us in the listing and we would not have stayed here if we had known as we prefer our own private space. Also be aware you can hear his footsteps above you during the day. Things we liked: the host was very nice when we met him. The place is very well appointed including a comfortable bed, included cooking utensils, spices, etc. The bathroom/shower were very nice. The toilet included a bidet, there was a rain-shower and his and hers sink. No ensuite bathroom, but lots of motion activated nightlights in the hallway. The bay window provided a very beautiful view of the mountains.

We had a wonderful stay! The host (Jeff) was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we possibly could have needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the location was perfect--the view of Pike's Peak out the living room window (and watching some ocassional deer visitors :)) added a truly unique and beautiful experience. The hot tub is in a prime position to watch the sunset over the mountains. Short driving distances to some great dining, shopping, and experiences like Garden of the Gods and the Cog Train to Pike's Peak. You can really tell that Jeff cares about providing a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone considering it!

Phenomenal Property!

We had a wonderful stay at this home outside of Colorado Springs. The owner was responsive and accommodating. The listing pictures are very accurate, yet cannot do justice to the view and setting. Truly a unique property. Our family of four (kids shared one of the two beds) were very comfortable and agreed that this was our favorite place to stay while on vacation in Colorado. Whether booking for your family, as a couples getaway, or just solo looking to decompress, you'll love Peak View Guesthouse.

Anniversary trip

My wife and I loved our stay. We have been in many VRBO’s and this was the most well thought out place we’ve stayed. It was wonderful to have so many different outdoor spaces to relax and when it started snowing, it was nice to sit in front of the floor to ceiling windows, drink coffee, and watch the snow come down. The home is very well equipped and it is located near everything v. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and would certainly stay here again.

Incredible! Stay here!

Wow. My (now) husband and I stayed here for a weekend while we eloped in Garden of the Gods. This spot is gorgeous, right on the edge of the garden of the gods park, breathtaking views of the mountains and pikes peak. Everything about the property was 10/10. Modern, comfortable, elegant, a lot of little details that make it extra special. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, great shower pressure, comfortable bed, and the hot tub is fantastic too! Great communication with Jeff, super lovely and easy to communicate with and helped us out when we needed to borrow something last minute for our elopement. Highly recommend and we will for sure stay here again when we come back to visit!

Great Views in a Great Home!

This is the perfect place to stay in "The Springs". From the view of Pikes Peak outside your picture window in the sitting area every morning, to the location to everything from the house. Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs being only a few minutes away make this an ideal place to stay. The house was amazing with all the little touches included. Snacks and coffee bar was great.
