"Host was accommodating, responsive, and was great overall! The property was very comfortable and exactly what I needed. I loved the neighborhood for nice walks in the evenings. Quiet and safe! House was clean and had many interesting art pieces and books. TV was very good and all amenities were as described. I would definitely consider staying again. This a on excellent location with a short trip to New Haven for lots of great places nearby. "

"Unfortunately, even though the gentleman at the front desk was polite, the check-in experience was terrible. The system was not working and he had to get the manager. They finally got me checked in and asked me to sign a receipt, for $80 even though I showed that I had pre-paid for the stay online and was able to use a credit and only paid sixty-something. They said that the receipt was for Hotels.com and not another charge. As it was late and I was tired, I signed. Shortly after getting to my room, I went to the bath room and found three live cockroaches walking around the bathroom sink and shower. I immediately killed them, then proceeded to pack my bags and check-out. I'm not pretentious at all and understand that motels are usually cheaper for a reason. But, I draw the line at having live roaches in the room. "
