"Rooms were ok, place seems outdated needs a good update. The room was not very updated, was clean so I'll give them that. Breakfast was not included, so have to pay additional for that. It was ok, typical hotel breakfast, so overpriced in my opinion since they could've just added it to the room pricing and had just included breakfast in general. Staff was friendly, and helpful though. Went mostly for the interest in the pool. Kids had fun it is small, but it was a good time because not too many people."

"The room was mercifully nice, clean, and functioning, but hooo boy this hotel... First of all apparently the communication between Expedia and the hotel is terrible, because while I adjusted the date of my stay on Expedia, it did NOT translate to the hotel system. The front desk man repeatedly told me how the error was NOT HIS FAULT and IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME and it's all on Expedia. I was told to call Expedia and had a 30 MINUTE wait until it was resolved eventually between being passed around on the phone. Meanwhile the A/C is non existent in the lobby and I'm having a sweaty old time. The guy did give us cold water bottles which was nice. The hotel is "currently under renovations" but I have a feeling that it's been like this. The breakfast area is torn up. The lobby tables are all wobbling. He gives us a 4th floor room because you can't use the 3rd floor via elevator because THAT is broken. The hotel pool was green. "It's under weekly maintenance, should be ready in an hour" they say... 3 days later it was still like that. Also the one main driveway had caution tape across it and was busted up forcing you to use the weird long side driveway. Breakfast was adequate though? "

"Love the Litchfield Inn. Had a mix up with the room I initially booked through Expedia and ended up in a different room, but the Inn was very helpful through email and could not do anything about the room mix up because my reservation was initially booked through Expedia; but after some time I needed to put into this, it was taken care of. The Inn is Gorgeous, very clean, has very comfortable beds and the fireplace rooms give an extra ambiance when settling down for bed. Love it here. Will definitely be back. My only ask is if the pancakes in the morning could be a little thinner? They are very thick - I know this is an individual preference and does not effect the wonderful stay you will have at The Litchfield Inn."

"Don't get fooled by any negative reviews you read, as my stay at The Alander was one of the best. From arrival to departure, the staff at The Alander went out of their way to make my stay wonderful. I informed the staff the morning I would be there that I would get there late. Check-in was seamless as they provided a code for your room, and the lights were turned on when I arrived. The cozy room had a cabin feel, a king bed, ample space, and plenty of amenities. Fresh ground local coffee, homemade granola, and yogurt were just a few of the small touches that set The Alander apart from other independently owned lodging I've used. The next day, when I was out, housekeeping personally texted me to ask if I needed anything. WiFi ran smoothly, and though I didn't take advantage of the firepit, next time I could definitely see sitting fireside roasting marshmallows! The Alander was great, and I certainly will stay there next time I'm in the area."
