We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend while visiting family and friends. It is a really cute, urban chic space. It has a fantastic kitchen island that was perfect for entertaining while cooking. It’s conveniently located and I would definitely recommend this place for a future stay.

Second time staying here. It’s good, but could be better. Just a few simple things. Like a couple boxes of Kleenex. Every hotel give you Kleenex. You’ve provided a curling iron for use, but no Kleenex? Also, the shower head is really not good. Update it to one with better flow. Also, put some type of curtain or door on the shower opening. It gets cold while showering.

For the area, this is a pretty good property. Could use a little more attention to detail. We found someone’s eye contacts on the floor of the bedroom, so it could have been cleaned better.There were no facial tissues to be found on site, a definite oversight.There’s no light over the shower. The showerhead pressure is minimal. People think a rain shower head is so nice, but in reality it’s for looks. The function is not there. Give me a high pressure hand held shower head and that is better any day.Bed was a little soft, and pillows were not great.We stayed when it was warm outside but the open shower could be a real issue in the winter when it’s cold. There needs to be an additional curtain or door on the shower to help keep some heat in.This property is great for an extended weekend to stay in town to see our son at Wabash College and make him a couple home cooked meals. However, with some of the details that are over looked, a Holiday Inn Express stay is often a better option; especially with the option to cancel last minute.

Location was really good. Downtown area is quiet and clean. Just a heads up, I didn't see in the listing.....there is a flight of stairs to access the second floor apartment with no elevator. This can be hard to deal with if you have large bags or bad knees. There are 25 stairs in a narrow stairway to the front door. Be aware, luggage can be difficult to manage. The propety was clean and well appointed.

Downtown, modern chic

First of all, I loved the location of the property in downtown Crawfordsville. It is conveniently located to several restaurants, Joshua Cup coffee, and the Wabash College. The place is decorated nicely, and the view is so beautiful overlooking the town courtyard. It is located on the second floor. It is very modern inside and located in an older downtown business area. We took a few walks in the evening through local quaint neighborhoods. The area seemed very safe even at night there were families walking around or sitting in the courtyard. Checking out Shades State Park is a must! You won't believe the beautiful hikes. Ten minutes from property. The owner replaced a broken microwave within a day. I stayed for three weeks and was very pleased. I would stay at the property again.

Indiana State Parks Getaway

Used this property as our home base for exploring Turkey Run State Park and Shades State Park. Great trails and landscapes at each place. Also found out about the many Parke County Covered Bridges — did not see all 31!Property was walking distance to many restaurants and shopping possibilities.
