The Crazy Horse Monument visit

Arrived fine, but found the office hard to locate at first. Cabin was great. Would have been good to better understand the cabin view before I booked but the sound was distant from traffic so ok. Parking was first come, first serve, but didn't pose a problem for us. The description said it included breakfast, but it was muffins, etc -- a to go meal only. Very clean, and we liked the deck very much for a quiet sit after sight seeing!

Quaint little motel. Great place.

Great little motel. Last minute reservation in the Black Hills isn’t recommend. lol. First one to pop up on our search with availability. In town and a quaint place.

I thought the cabins were adorable and cozy. The pool and hot tub were clean and clear. The property was well maintained. The cabin room has a king size bed which takes up most of the space, so it is designed for people who travel with little amounts of luggage.

Cute room but thin walls. We could hear the people in the next room early morning which ruined our sleep. We arrived at 8:30 pm from traveling all day and asked about dining options and told most town restaurants stop serving at 9 pm on a Saturday night.

The details from Expedia did not match reservation very misleading had to move us to a cabin which is what we thought we reserved charged us $100’s of dollars more waiting to see I think I was over charged… the cabins were great but the motel they tried to put us in was ridiculous…staff was nice hoping they did the right thing a few days will tell

Nice place--better get a king bed.

Beds are NOT queens--they're full. Sleeper sofa mattress was pretty thin. AC blew very cold which was nice. Good grab-n-go breakfast.

With a 'cabinisque' feel to our room (1 bedroom / 2 full ). It was very comfortable. We even used the pull out - and with the firm foam it was actually quite comfortable as well. The staff was very friendly. It is close to town (walking distance if you want). Easy access to Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Custer St Park.

We enjoyed our stay at Rock Crest Lodge. It was convenient to the Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave and the Crazy Horse Memorial. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was nice after a day of hiking. The lodge is close to lots of food options, but is located in a quiet part of town. Contrary to the listing, there is no daily housekeeping. If staying multiple days, new towels can be obtained at the office and trash placed outside the door. That was fine. However, one thing we really missed was towel racks for wet towels in the bathroom. Overall we had a nice stay.
