An outdated hotel with outdated rules for access to basic amenities. If you’re a business Traveler this choice of hotels is NOT for you because your bill does not include the basic amenity of free WiFi. You need to join the antiquated Honors club of which I was once a mbr but these days basic amenities such as WiFi are included at MOST hotels that do not require antiquated upsells. Your bill also does NOT include a simple breakfast meal to get you on your way. A simple question about breakfast ensued as follows “is breakfast included”? The response of “oh let me check your details was followed by a shouted response of “oh, no breakfast for you”!! This was shouted loud enough for the ENTIRE Lobby & breakfast area to hear. I simply said thank you & drove 1 block to Wendy’s for a fresh, hot meal. Lastly, the dingy carpet needs to be shampooed if not replaced was another non-positive complemented by old dingy curtains. I’ll go back to staying at hotels that are only 2 mls from the ofc where WiFi is always free & breakfast is included at most, and these are brand new hotels. I would’ve been perfectly fine with the exclusion of breakfast because that is an add’l cost to the Proprietor’s business model, but free WiFi is a basic amenity at 99.5% of welcoming hotels that want to attract new customers; instead I was told “no WiFi for you & a shouted no breakfast for you!!” This experience was reminiscent of an old episode of Seinfeld. So no thank you to this hotel, next!!

People were friendly. Hotel older but ok. The devise to switch the water from pouring into the tub from the faucet to the shower needs to be fixed so all the water from the faucet goes to the shower and not to both the tub and shower.

Knocking at door

Booked the stay . Only had one night . Check out is 11am. When we arrived room was not available. This was at 4pm . When room became available it was not room we booked . Was told over booking happened so we did not get room type we paid for . Second at 0830 in morning we get a knock on door . I guess I did not move fast enough and a person opened our door and entered room . No announcement of who they were . We are in trafficking times so that felt very unsafe . Then at 0930 I get another knock on door , I answer its housekeeping . I ask if check out is 10 or 11 ? She say 11. So I asked why are you knocking on my door before checkout ? With that you pay $15 to park and you pay $18 for breakfast. This place is way expensive to have all these flaws . Will not book there again . I hate being woke up before my alarm !

My Stay

The reason I rated it poor is because the amount of money you pay , I expected better. I arrived at 4pm our room was not ready . Then when it was ready we learned rooms were over booked and we did not get the room we originally booked . Then , I had booked several rooms .one of which was only for one night with check out at 11am. SOMEONE knocked on door at 830 am , when I didn’t get up fast enough they came in the room ! No one announced themselves just came in and noticed we were still there and left. THEN at 945am THEY CAME BACK KNOCKING !! I asked if checkout was at 10 or 11. They said 11. Then why are you guys knocking at our door . We also had to pay $15 for parking as well as $18 for breakfast. I say this to say it cost to much to stay there for this disruption.

Easter Weekend

Trip to visit family. Check in was smooth, and room was very nice. It was loud when people slammed their doors. Near shopping and lots of food choices. Buffet was quite pricey at hotel.
