Quiet 1 Bedroom Condo in a Popular Mountain Resort

Welcome to your vacation condo getaway at Copperstone Resort! This well-managed top-rated resort with helpful friendly staff and full of amenities is located in the small hamlet of Dead Man's Flats, which is only minutes away from Canmore and all the unique shopping and restaurants it offers, yet far enough away for you to enjoy its quiet relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking scenery all around to make your vacation here enjoyable and memorable any season or time of the year!

This one bedroom condo is spacious and complete with all the comforts of home, and is professionally cleaned between stays. It offers a fully stocked modern kitchen with island, separate dining area and living area with cozy fireplace and queen-sized sofa bed. The unit has its own dedicated furnace and HVAC system, so the air you breathe is not shared with other units. High-speed fiber optic Internet, satellite cable TVs and in-suite laundry are also included. The unit backs onto a beautiful courtyard which is quiet and peaceful compared to many units in Canmore that face the highway or train noise. You also have your own private patio which is just steps away from shared BBQs, a fire pit seating area, additional patio tables and an outdoor hot tub that accommodates a maximum of 10 people. Heated secure underground parking is provided along with access to the fitness and games room. Our underground parkade also has a ski tuning station, two EV charging stations and bike racks. We even provide a COMPLIMENTARY DISCOVERY PASS that you and your family can borrow while visiting Banff or Yoho National Parks! If you plan to visit Kananaskis Country, you will need to purchase a Kananaskis Conservation Pass ($15/day) online or in person at the Kananaskis Visitor Information Centres (Barrier, Elbow and Peter Lougheed) or at the Canmore Nordic Centre Day Lodge. The Kananaskis pass is assigned to your vehicle's licence plate.

Guests can access our unit from the front doors of Building #2 along 2nd avenue, then follow the hallway to the end, exit into the courtyard and enter Building #4 on the left with the entry code provided. Building #4 can also be directly accessed via the underground parkade with the same entry code.

One vehicle per reservation is allowed to park for free in the underground parkade. Additional parking is available outside in specified areas throughout Dead Man's Flats if you have an additional vehicle or your vehicle is higher than the 7 foot clearance required for the underground parkade. Second or third vehicles will be required to pay $15/day for parking underground using a parking app. Parking is also allowed for a maximum of 15 minutes along 2nd Avenue in front of the main resort building.

Parking, though available, was a tight squeeze for the rental vehicle we had (Vehicle was changed up by the rental company last minute to a full size pick up). Location was perfect for quietness yet easy access to expressway to Canmore and the national parks.

Très facile d'accès à partir de l'autoroute. 2 stations services à proximité avec les prix les moins cher vus dans la région. Stationnement souterrain très pratique mais parfois plein lors d'arrivées tardives en soirée. Beaucoup d'espace, tres beau condo moderne. Pour les visiteurs ne restant que quelques jours et desirant cuisiner, l'hébergement ne founit aucun condiment ou élements de base. Prix un peu élevé mais probablement un peu moins cher qu'à Canmore (à 5 min) ou à Banff (à 25 min). On y retournerait.

Amazing condo and excellent stay

Property / condo was very nice. Parking a breeze. The host had excellent communication and promptness to emails. Use of the park pass very nice. The location was perfect and the resort complex very nice. The condo had everything needed for my family and we really enjoyed multiple hikes in the national parks. Even saw pikas, marmots and elk as well as different birds. The stay in Dead Man's flats with groceries near by in Canmore was incredible. We wish we could have stayed a few more days!

Short Vacation trip.

We had a great experience during our short stay in Eric's place. The place is very clean, organized, secured and quiet - all the essential things were also provided. 👍 The host is very kind and very detailed on giving us all the instructions (check-in, parking, check-out) and they even have recommendations on places to see in Banff. It's just few minutes from Canmore that's why it's very accessible. We highly recommend this place if your looking for a ralaxing/quiet place to stay away from the busy city.

Beautiful location away from the crowds

If you are like me and you prefer to be away from the crowds so you can enjoy the nature this is the place. The condo was very clean and comfortable, well maintained and the pass to Banff was a welcome plus. We were there for a wedding and spent a fraction of the price and had better accommodations than everyone else. Will stay again next time we come to Canmore.

Wonderful Get Away Resort

Truly a great place to rest and relax in the surrounding beauty of the Rockies. Eric and Nancy's place was and is a nice quiet place to stay for any person or couple looking for somewhere to escape the rush of life. The resort was exactly as expected. It was easy to access, clean, and had all the needed amenities. It was also close to Nakiska (where we skied) and Canmore/Banff for dining. The only thing I would caution others about is that the only place to purchase food/restaurant is the gas station so make sure you stop in Canmore or make other arrangements.
