Appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with all the house amenities (coffee maker, keurig, washer, dryer, wine chiller and game console). Easy check in and check out. Great place to relax, enjoy the lake and surrounding area. We were a short distance from Lake Geneva area and Delavan golf course. We were able to make a day trip to the Wis Dells. Nice to have a lounge within walking distance. We were unable to visit because they were having a wedding, but it looked like a fun place. Only negative comment (just pointing out for other travelers) regarding the unit would be that the upper bedrooms are more of a bedroom and loft versus 2 full bedrooms. Also the 2nd bathroom is on the lower floor which worked for us but might be a problem for anyone that has issues going up and down the stairs in the middle of the night (seniors or small children). Also the parking is across the street so you have to drag luggage or groceries across the street.

Great spot!

Great little spot just steps away from the lake (50 yards)...comfortable bedroom with upstairs bunkbeds and single beds...newer bathrooms, and in a super cute neighborhood of cottages. The place was super clean, had plenty of kitchen tools, and is 5 minutes from grocery, and other fast foods spots off highway 50. We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful fall colors of Lake Delevan. Thanks!

Everything we needed

It was fairly easy to arrange the 4 day stay. The owner was pleasant and promptly answered every question. The cottage was charming and nicely supplied. In warmer weather the fire pit and deck would have been fun to use. The surrounding cottages and flagstone walkways give the area an attractive and friendly atmosphere. We had a pleasant and restful time.

Relax and Rest

I came up to Wisconsin with a couple of people to celebrate my birthday and attend a wedding at a neighboring lake. It was such a great time. The place was beautiful, the neighbors were friendly and I loved the view and fire pit. Definitely would stay again.

Great & Quite Stay

The place was beautifully located in like a colony of homes on and near the water. Very well stocked with everything you need and very comfortable sleeping arrangements. There is a beautiful sitting deck outside with grill and fire pit. The shopping is close by also. The only thing that was alittle problem for us was the parking. (Across the street) We travel for work with a lot of bags and containers so having to transport everything from car to house was a bit of work , but definitely worth it. Karen was a great host. She was readily available by text and very accommodating. We would love to stay again. God Bless

Perfect in every way!

Everything was perfect! Karen was such a gracious host and we loved staying in her beautiful cottage! The cottage was so clean, had every detail you could imagine, comfortable beds, easy access with gorgeous lake views and a lovely patio to enjoy the perfect setting! Old dirty house with some updated features

If you want a good nights sleep, do not book this house in September. The acorns falling and crashing on the roof are relentless, noisy and disruptive. Couldn’t get a good nights sleep the entire time. House is renovated but needs a good cleaning. Bathroom ceiling has a water leak that has been patched but still leaked. Heater vent was filthy. Curtains stained, ants in kitchen had to be dealt with. Cobwebs in every room. Place just needs a thorough top to bottom deep clean to be right. Window sills haven’t been touched in a while. On the upside, the two showers were large with plenty of hot water. Kitchen was roomy with a new fridge and oven. In house w/d too. Couches and blankets were cozy and free Netflix was a plus. Parking is across the street which if the neighbors didn’t help us with could have been bad. Not the worst place we ever stayed at but those with an eye for detail, cleanliness and quality should steer clear of this house until it gets a good fall cleaning.

Peaceful Getaway

House was clean and lived up to its description. Quiet area with beautiful view of lake from back deck and back of house. Owner answered all questions promptly and patiently. Only slight negative as mentioned in previous review, picture of sandy beach makes it seem like that is near property and there is not a beach near the house. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay again.

There is no sandy beach. Neighbors thought this was really funny as there is no such thing. Too hot upstairs to sleep in hot summer weather. Even though fans and a portable air conditioner were brought in by caretaker, daughter and friend who were sleeping upstairs, had to sleep on sofas downstairs.

Celebration of Life

This amazing cottage provided a welcoming, beautiful, and functional space to rest, relax, and celebrate the (nearly) 90 years of My Sweet Aunt Mary. Spectacular views! Clean, comfortable, beautiful home. Quiet and friendly surrounding neighbors. We walked the lakeside path to the Inn Between in about 12 minutes!

Loved this updated property. It was beautifully decorated. Great location n so quiet. The only issue is that both n only bathrooms downstairs. I wasn’t clear of that, maybe put in description. So that was an issue with one if the guest n myself bc that too hard to go up n downstairs at night when u use bathroom multiple times in evening. Guest had to stay on couch all week which definitely is not as comfortable as beds upstairs.I definitely recommend reducing number of plug ins n candles bc many guests could have same sensory issues like we did. Loved it

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this darling lake home. Our family enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the comfortable chairs. We took many walks along the sidewalk path along the lakefront. You can walk to a little marina with a store and the other way goes to a cute bar and restaurant called the Inn Between. Inside, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable.. Upstairs were bunk beds that the grandkids really enjoyed. We just loved this place and the peaceful quiet neighborhood of the Rockford Colony.
