Profound Concern Regarding Security & Disappearance of Personal Effects While our stay was generally adequate, we must express profound discomposure regarding the “inexplicable disappearance” of our son’s cherished cotton jacket from our room. It was not merely overlooked—it vanished without a trace despite thorough searching prior to departure. We reported this loss immediately to your attentive front desk and followed with a detailed written account. A week has now passed with no investigation update, apology, or even acknowledgment of our concern. The garment’s mysterious absence from a space we reasonably assumed secure raises troubling questions. That such a personal item could vanish under your care—and that its loss would be met with your silence—fundamentally violates the duty of care guests rightly expect. Until your establishment addresses this serious breach of trust and demonstrates accountability for belongings disappearing within its walls, we regrettably cannot endorse your property to fellow travelers. And, remind every potential guest: take all personal items with you when you leave your room.

We liked the big room and private door separating seating area from sleeping area. Did not like not being able to drink or bring food into pool area. Liked the complimentary drinks and snacks at happy hour. Breakfast was good, omelette station, waffle maker, good food choices.

Don’t bother with this property, very ghetto and dirty. Elevator had spilled popcorn in it that was there both days we were there. pillowcase on our bed had some dark stain on it , as well as some of the towels for hands in bathroom, also a blood stain on the toilet. i brought clorox disinfectant wipes and cleaned off the toilet myself and it came off. which makes you think obviously not being cleaned well, if i was able to get the stain off. i text the front staff to let them know and all they said was”sorry what can we bring to make it better”. description for room stated combination of tub and shower for bathroom, which wasn't the case. what kind of shower doesn’t have any shelves or anything for you to put your items in?? that was not convenient. they give only little soap only. pool was small and over crowded with nothing but little kids. breakfast was horrible, like some lunch room grade school put together. i’ve stayed at other embassy suite hotels in past in other cities, and this one does not compare at all. highly disappoints and i wanted to check out so bad, but they charge you to check out early also. don’t bother with this location

Remodeled hotel, the hotel don't come and clean your room everyday. They don't even clean the garbage or get new towels. Make sure you request it when you check in. They turned off the water without letting no one know. The breakfast they ran out of everything before 9:30 they need two people for the egg station. The pools circulation was not working. The two days that I was there the elevators were dirty with food on the floor.

After spending the night in an Embassy Suites outside of Chicago this stay was super disappointing, the manager’s reception was incredibly limited and the bartender wouldn’t make cocktails. The alcohol was lowest shelf available. That being said it’s free so not that big of a deal. The room was not particularly comfortable the furniture in the living room area was dated and hard to relax on. The bed was good and comfortable. The bathroom was another story when we went to shower in the morning we realized the tub was filthy - we opted to wait until our next stop that evening. The breakfast staff was friendly and the omelette was good - we got there a bit before 9:00 and there was no fruit left in the bowls.

It was a beautiful hotel, but our experience wasn't very good. The pool was so bad that our eyes burned and we didn't even go swimming. But our kids eyes where so incredibly red... On our second day there the pool was crowded with a lot of rowdy boys (we have 2 small girls age 8 and 9). They kept falling on our kids no matter where they moved. Then one of them started bleeding in the pool and that was the final straw and we made our kids get out. Our room was also directly above the pool so all we heard all evening was the rowdy kids, and our room smelt so much like pool it made us all sick. Very disappointed in this, it is not the hotels fault, but it definitely ruined our experience at the hotel. Will try again next time.

The only problem was upon arrival we asked if our room was ready. (It was 1:30) The receptionist was just on the phone speaking to someone saying yes your room is ready looking forward to seeing you. As soon as she hung up I asked about our room she extremely curtly said no after looking at the computer. At that time I asked if she had an idea when it may be she curtly replied Check-in is st 4:00.Which I understand but many times rooms are prepared earlier. I said okay is there a system for them to message us when the room is ready she again rudely said no. We went next door and had an appetizer after an hour I called same voice again said no. After another hour I called a different voice politely said oh yes it is when do we expect to arrive. I said we were right next door waiting for 2 hours for the room to be prepared. At that time she seemed confused and asked if we were waiting to a specific room I said no. She said oh. This makes me feel that rooms were available earlier and for some reason the 1st desk person was either upset by me asking her too many questions initially or just not doing a very good job. Other than that experience everything else was exceptional.
