Beautiful spacious 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath house, with large heated pool, outdoor table with grill facilities for rent in sought after Lake Ida area in Delray Beach, FL. Beach 1.5 miles away. Buzzing Atlantic Ave with restaurants, art galleries only few blocks away. World renowned Delray Stadium and tennis center 2 miles away. Downstairs 2 bedrooms with en-suite bath (1 king and 1 twin over full bunk bed). Upstairs 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom with queen , 1 bedroom with 1 king beds and 1bedroom with 2 x twin). Amenities include new Weber Gas grill, washer/dryer, 6 lounge pool chairs, outdoor dining facilities, 2 x indoor dining facilities.

Delray house

Very conveniently located to Atlantic Ave and the beach, also close to CVS, Publix, etc. The house was a great size for our extended family of 10. Quiet, relaxing and cozy, with a well equipped kitchen. Pool was really fantastic with lots of pool toys! We had a few small hiccups that the host addressed right away. Overall we had a great stay!

Great pool not advertised as saltwater but it didn’t matter. No a/c in bunk bed bedroom. Host told us handyman would come for a broken handle on freezer and a condensation leak from a/c vent but he never showed. Not the host’s fault overall we had a great time

Such an amazing stay!

A group of girlfriends stayed for a bachelorette party and we had a blast! The pool was a great place for us to hang out - it was clean and warm! The house is a perfect distance from all of DelRay's attractions like the beach and Atlantic Ave. Would recommend 10/10!

Perfect mix of rental with personal feel

I’ve stayed in a south Florida rental with my extended family approximately 15 times in past 8-10 years and this is one of our favorite rentals we’ve found. It’s a great combination of a typical rental but also feels like a real home (more rugs, cushions than the typical minimally furnished rental). Most FL properties feel like huge houses with sparse furnishings, but this property is comfortable and a great place for a family meal or game night around one of the large dining tables. Our family trips are filled with full days in the pool, homemade family meals eaten at a big dining table, and puzzles and card games at a big table. All easily done in this home (kitchen a little small for cooking but definitely workable). The only issue I would point out is the upstairs bathroom situation- there are 3 upstairs bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The bathroom has 2 toilets and 1 shower but the toilets are separated by an open shower- meaning there is no wall or door between them. We assumed 2 toilets available upstairs but practically works as one. It’s totally doable and not a big deal, but took us a bit of reorganizing to make sure worked. Property manager was extremely responsive, flexible and helpful. This property is by far best value for money we’ve found in south Florida. Really pleased with entire experience and would defo go back.

Birthday celebration

My sister in-laws joined me in Delray to celebrate my 70th. The house was perfect for our needs, we all had our own bedroom and space to hang out. The pool area was very nice and even when it rained we sat under the umbrella and played games. Beautiful neighborhood and easy access to the beach and restaurants. I would recommend this house and would happily return.

Upstairs Could Be Better

Although the location of this property is great, there are things that could be improved. The downstairs area was tidy and updated, however upstairs had multiple areas that could use a refresh and better cleaning. For instance, there were multiple large stains on the carpet in all upstairs bedrooms, areas in the upstairs bathrooms that could’ve been cleaned much better, multiple thick dust pilings on items upstairs, and rusted door handles, fixtures, etc. Other than that, if you were staying downstairs the whole time, it is a fine accommodation.

Awesome Delray Beach Rental

This was the perfect house for a girl's trip to Delray Beach. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spaciousness, cleanliness, and overall comfort of the property. The house is very roomy, making it perfect for a large group like ours. The place was clean and well-maintained. Colene, the host, was great to work with. She was very responsive and ensured that we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Delray Beach.

We loved this cute and aesthetically pleasing place! We’ve been lovers of Delray Beach for a very long time and it was a great experience. My only suggestion would to have the pool a little colder in the hot summer months, but I still enjoyed it very much. It doesn’t change the overall review at all :)

Needs A/C repairs

This older home from the 1950s needs additional renovations and upkeep. For 2 of our 4 nights (7/12-7/16), the downstairs a/c stopped working. The property manager and handyman were very helpful and quick to respond on both nights, but we missed scheduled wedding activities on the first night to tend to the malfunctioning a/c (not to mention the discomfort of 80+ heat downstairs). The property owner advised us we were leaving window shades open and dropping the air too low, leading to the issues, but we provided photos evidencing a/c concerns well before our stay (the a/c keypad reflected cooling issues and alerts on 7/2, 7/4, and 7/10). Setting the a/c at 73-74 degrees is a reasonable expectation. The downstairs unit is not properly working and simply needs repair and/or additional maintenance. Additionally, on our first evening, the hot water was not working. The handyman was able to quickly repair after his arrival, but this was after carrying my child to three different bathrooms and adults shivering through cold showers (but we had no a/c so some adults welcomed same!). A/C and hot water are basic amenities for a rental - especially at this price point and with the owner having knowledge of ongoing issues. I have asked the property owner for a partial refund (15-20%) but as of the date of this review have not received a response.
