Morrison Mountain Studio Getaway

Peaceful studio apartment in the mountains west of Denver. Recently remodeled! Property is in the lower level of our home. Private entrance and plenty of parking.

Great location! Close to Red Rocks and Denver yet in the foothills where there is an abundance of wildlife, forests, and hiking trails. Great snowshoeing or hiking out the back door. Nordic and Downhill skiing not too far away. Stay with us and avoid the high prices of the mountain towns!

Multiple restaurants and grocery stores within a 1-5 mile radius of the Mountain Studio.

A scenic place to get away from it all!

Spacious studio with private entrance. Outdoor seating with 2 propane firepits.

Queen size bed in addition to a queen size pull out couch.

Full bath and kitchenette with mini fridge, stove/oven

WiFi and TV (Roku). Coffee/tea provided. Hair dryer, iron/ironing board, first aid kit, some toiletries (soap, lotion, shampoo, toothbrush/paste) provided.

Welcome basket complete with fresh eggs from our resident hens.

Two infrared electric fireplaces to keep you warm and toasty!

Hiking, road and mountain biking right out your door! Lots of great snowshoe trails! World class skiing an hour away!

Property backs up to acres and acres of undeveloped open space.

Well equipped getaway

My husband and I stayed here one night, but could have stayed longer! This is a delightful, clean, well appointed large studio. Nothing was tired or worn. There were even fresh flowers on the table. There were many little touches that made this place stand out! The birds chirpping in the morning and the steady breeze on the warm summer day made sipping coffee on the deck relaxing. The host was easy to communicate with as well. A great place to unwind! We would stay here again!

It was great for our purposes, in the area for a wedding that had filled the local hotels. Quiet, spacious, drive right up to the entry. Not far from grocery, good access to the local amenities. We hiked around just on the roads and it was lovely. There were snacks and coffee which was much appreciated, and the dark shades made sleeping in perfect. Absolutely recommend.

Nice location!!

Our stay was so amazing! The location of the home is near the highway but far enough into the woods to get good privacy. I felt very safe staying here! The hosts were very cooperative and easy going. I will definitely stay again if I come back to Denver.

Hit the Jackpot!

Our host made sure that we were well taken care of. An abundance of delicious snacks, beverages, toiletries and EVEN fresh eggs for breakfast was provided. The location was perfect,... nestled in a quiet, hillside neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants and parks with hiking trails.

Unbelievable!!!

Gisele is a great host and her property is amazing. The studio was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. Bed was super comfortable and the towels were soft. The snacks were a great touch. The kitchen had anything you would need to cook including a variety of spices, K-cups for coffee or cider were provided along with a variety of creamers. The living room was extremely comfortable, the electric fireplace was really nice for the cold nights. The deck was a great place to relax and get some fresh air. Even saw a black bear which was really cool. We had an amazing trip and the studio felt like home!

Amazing getaway

We had a great stay at this amazing property - everything is exactly as pictured and the hosts truly thought of everything from the fresh Coors, fresh eggs, coffees, creamers, snacks to the bathroom touches of makeup wipes, soaps, etc - we weren't wanting for anything!! So peaceful and quiet up on the mountain, and only a short ride down to restaurants and grocery and other stores. Great little hike right on the property too - we enjoyed every bit of our stay - thank you!

Peaceful and beautiful

This was my second stay. This place is beautifully kept, the check in/out process is uncomplicated and Giselle is a wonderful host. She is sincerely interested in your stay being a great one and is easily available if needed. I cannot say enough about this peaceful getaway. I will come back again and again.

Beautiful Getaway

I travel alone quite a bit and try to get into the mountains monthly to keep my head on straight! I usually wind up in a big house with a bunch of wasted space. This property is absolutely awesome and perfect for just me. Communication was wonderful and I really can’t say enough about this experience. I will be back!

Perfect spot for sister’s weekend!

Awesome property in the foothills/ woods. We spent a lot of time on the deck with the propane fire table keeping us warm as the evening temp dipped. Fresh eggs in the morning from the hosts chickens were sooooo delicious. The studio is well stocked and the bed and pullout couch were quite comfortable. Great towels/linens and two electric fireplaces to keep the space warm and cozy. Excellent communication with the hosts. We had a GREAT time and I hope we will be back next year!

Beautiful set-up inside and out!

My wife and I spent a weekend here as part of attending a concert at Red Rocks, and we could not have been happier with the experience! This is a beautiful apartment that has everything you need for a short visit like this. A gas stovetop, small refrigerator, comfortable seating and any kitchen and bathroom supplies we needed. It's seven minutes from big grocery store, about 20 minutes from Red Rocks and situated on a quiet, scenic street that is far more private than a hotel and with beautiful scenery! Exactly what we were looking for! The place is well cared for and our check in and out were super easy. This host cares a lot about how the place looks and feels. We would definitely return and recommend!

Cozy little mountain studio!

We had a great stay at Gisele’s place in Morrison. The studio was well supplied with most/all of the things you could need to have a comfortable stay. We spent most days venturing out and using the studio for home base. The owner left us fresh eggs so we had breakfast in the studio a few mornings (Thanks, Gisele!). We picked up some groceries on our first day in town and we were able to use the cute little kitchenette for our cooking/eating needs. The studio was very clean and well stocked. Location was perfect for our plans (concert at Red Rocks. Hiking trips to Boulder and RMNP and local sights around the rental location in Evergreen and Morrison) The host was in the house above us and respected our privacy but also let us know that she was available, if needed. We also hiked the little trail that was on the property. The hike up the hill is a little steep but totally doable. I would definitely recommend this cozy studio for another couple like us who enjoyed the quiet stay and the central location to many of our activities.

Amazing Property

We couldn’t have been more pleased with Gisele and her property. Every detail was thought of, from toiletries to snacks to recommendations of things to do. The property was clean, inviting. private, and comfortable. She even left fresh eggs (which we enjoyed the first morning). We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
