Holiday Inn - Troy

The location is convenient - right off the expressway. It’s a very safe area. Check in took much longer than it should have - the staff were carrying on a conversation (not about work) that slowed the process. I tried to get something to eat at the bar - recommended by the check in - and food service was closed early. The cook was sitting at the end of the bar. If I stayed here again, it would be because of the convenience to the expressway.

The staff in the bar/dining area were excellent. They were helpful and polite. The front desk people were not the friendliest of people. They got the job done but they could have been more approachable.

Stains of sheet

bed linens were not changed. it was old and had stains on it. When we asked for a change, house keeping was no longer available. When front desk dropped off a change of sheets, they gave us QUEEN sheets for a king bed.

Good hotel for an extended stay.

This is a nice hotel that is well maintained, generally quiet, and convenient to I-75. The breakfast was OK but nothing special and there is an upcharge, Not sure its worth the price. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Brand new hotel. Clean and great interior in lobby and restaurant. Restroom also super clean and upscale. check in was smooth and room was new and clean. Only issue was that the indoor pool door was jammed and couldn't use. But we had a complement breakfast next day. Maybe because the pool door? Overall, great experience and will recommend to all! :)
