"The hotel was lovely, as expected. The individual at the front desk was both kind and helpful. My valet experience was quick and pleasant! The room was beautifully comfortable and appeared safe for a germafreak. The outdoor patio bar was a cozy spot for conversation at the tables. I don’t recommend sitting on the stained patio furniture. However, it is “ outdoor” furniture, so it’s going to be what it is going to be. I had a terrible breakfast at the Flint. So many weird things happened that I ended up finding breakfast elsewhere. 1. wrong salt in shaker-/ thought I was just too inept to shake salt! 2. My beautiful CFS was merely fat and gristle. 3. my gravy on biscuit was cold— like just out of refrigerator to just room temp cold. — None of this alone was life altering, it all just added up to a super disappointing breakfast. The high point of breakfast was ( pardon me for misspelling) Hayden, my server. What a wonderfully sweet, understanding, patient individual!! Flint has a wonderful asset in this server. For the record, all employees at Flint were pleasant and courteous there, to be sure."
