Downside/upside

Our room was thankfully on the ground level as there is no elevator. However, it had a strong cat urine odour and the tv didn’t work. Several calls to the front desk resulted in dropped calls with no follow-up. The complimentary guest snack food service in the evening and hot breakfast next morning was appreciated. Hotel management was advised of our concerns.

There was popcorn on the bedspread when we arrived and the desk chair was stained and looked dirty. In the bathroom, the shower pressure was weak and the hot water was moderate at best.

I'm not sure if the property had an elevator or not. The rooms are also a little outdated and our bathtub drain didn't go as fast as need for even a shower. Other than that, it was perfect.

It was clean, which is very important. The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious. The coffee maker in the room didn’t work or at least we couldn’t get it to work. The breakfast was amazing. The parking lot could use a re-surfacing but overall it was all wonderful and we will come again.

This hotel provided excellent service, an immaculate room, an incridible breakfast, and all the amenities a traveler needs within walking distance. I highly recomment this hotel. Also, the price was very reasonable.

We stayed at this hotel after going to Drumheller and it was all booked up. The hotel itself was good, clean and lots of parking. There is a restaurant in the lot and has a gas station right beside it which made it very convenient. The breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly. There is a hot tub and very nice gym as well. I would say for our family it was fine for one night, but I wouldn't book it for any longer as there isnt anything to do in the town and no pool for the kids.

I am celiac, so i asked for gluten free bread. I recieved the bread as well as a toaster to toast it in. Then when i was done breakfast the lady in the breakfast area came over to make sure i found enough to eat. A nice touch that was much appreciated.

Check in was super quick and easy. Fairly new , modern hotel. BUT..........the " hot -tub" is not a hot tub, it is a jet-tub and was out of order " waiting for parts". And the room smelled strongly of cheap cologne ( room 207)
