Our guest accommodations are within walking distance to Brentwood College School, and a short drive to Shawnigan Lake School.

In this listing we are showcasing a spacious bedroom with King size bed, kitchenette (NO stove), bathroom with shower & lounge sitting area that has 2 Twin pullout beds (Italian top of the line).
This unit offers:
- Shared main house entrance leading to completely private suite occupying entire 2nd floor (14 carpeted stairs with handrail)
- Air conditioning
- King size bed with Marshall mattress
- Kitchenette (*NO stove) equipped with sink, compact fridge, toaster, large capacity toaster oven, microwave, Breville Grind and Brew coffee-maker, kettle - dishes, glassware and utensils (*Thrifty Foods, close by, offers a range of in-house cooked meals for reheating, and deli - also a variety of cafes and restaurants within easy walking and driving distance)

Great hosts comfortable room beautiful property

Husband and I and our 12 year-old daughter stay here for three nights while we were in the area for a rugby tournament. The house was so welcoming and made us feel right at ease. The property is beautiful and very secure. The garden is just filled with gorgeous plants and little details everywhere I had to take a lot of pictures. It’s on the waterfront so there’s a view from the window. Yeah there’s a path down to the water or a place to sit in the grass overlooking. It’s very close to many amenities. The room was super large and really comfortable. Everything was spotless. The host thought of everything that we would need in a hotel style room. But hotels don’t have this kind of charm or Detail and certainly you don’t have houses that are this great. We will definitely go back when we’re in the area. Mill Bay is beautiful and a gem of the island

Wonderful apartment, great location, lovely host

We booked this apartment for our daughter as it was close to Brentwood School. The school is a short walk away. The apartment is spacious, super clean and has a beautiful view of the bay. Fiona was exceptional. Super fast in responding to messages and always very kind, friendly and helpful. It was as if our daughter was staying with a family friend. Thank you vary much Fiona!

We loved Fiona and Isabella's beautiful home, their warmth, and especially their sweet dogs, Jackson and Maggie. The upstairs rental was well equipped and nicely decorated. The only thing we were a little surprised by is how small the area is with the twin beds; it was hard to tell from the pictures. However, the amazing view from the window there, and the ocean breezes really made up for it. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Lovely, peaceful spot

What a beautiful property! This suite is on the top floor of the host home, so the view is spectacular! (But be warned: there are steep stairs.) The unit is cozy and comfortable and the hosts are very generous and accommodating. It was great to bring our kayak and be able to launch from their beach whenever we wanted to. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay.

Perfect Place with a stunning view

We got a warm welcome by Fiona and Isabelle and their 2 dogs. Thank you so much! The house is situation on a marvellous little bay - Mill Bay is quite and nice. The view out of the roof top Appartement is stunning by day and night and you never can get enough of this view. For some days you can find all you need in the Appartement as well as a sweet garden with views and a nice swim directly at the bottom of the house. We always got help and nice advises for our trips around. Perfect grocery shops just next door as well as a nice restaurant at the small harbour. We can warmly recommend this place for your trip to Vancouver Island!

Amazing communication and super accommodating

Fiona and Isabelle went above and beyond. We reached out in January looking for a place we could hold our wedding ceremony. After reaching out, Fiona was so accommodating! From taking the time to show the place to our in laws as we are from out of town, to checking us in with smiles, jokes and laughter! Isabelle was incredibly accommodating with us for the day of the wedding to acheive the photos we wanted.
