✹ Easy self-check-in is available via the keypad on the front door - a personalized code will be sent to you prior to check-in.
✹ NATURE & WILDLIFE: The property is located in a heavily wooded area. Expect to see wildlife and be exposed to critters such as squirrels, chipmunks, deer, racoon & insects (ants, mosquitoes, spiders, ect), and the occasional friendly bug or two inside or outside the property. Rest assured, we have regular cleanings and comprehensive, year-round pest control measures in place and work hard to minimize these encounters; however, bug spray is recommended if planning to enjoy the outdoor areas. This is a part of the natural woodland experience and is outside of our control.
✹ VERIFICATION: Upon reserving the home, you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please complete your verification upon receipt of this communication to avoid delays in getting your reservation process completed.
✹ RENTAL AGREEMENT: A rental agreement will be sent after booking and must be signed to finalize your reservation. Government ID of primary renter is required to be uploaded.
✹ CREDIT CARD HOLD: A $500 credit card hold will be placed 2 days before arrival and released within 7 days of departure.
✹ INSURANCE: We recommend considering travel insurance for extra peace of mind, just in case something unexpected comes up. Our cancellation policy still applies, but travel insurance might help protect your plans in unexpected situations. You'll see the options during the reservation process, and please note, we’re not partnered with any specific provider.
✹ HOA REQUIREMENTS & FEES
Please note that Penn Estates is a gated community. The best in the Poconos, but not without some rules. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay, we kindly request your cooperation with the following:
✔ Guest Registration Form: You’ll receive a form to register all guests (including service providers) before arrival. Missing the deadline may lead to cancellation or late registration fee. Only registered guests are permitted access to the community and property, whether an overnight guest or a day guest.
✔ HOA registration fee: The community requires a one-time guest registration fee, collected separately:
- $50 if registered more than 72 hours before check-in
- $75 if registered within 72 hours of check-in
