The pictures do not represent the reality of the property. It says it's a 'resort' but our room was a motel/cabin room that had no windows in the front. There was an event that weekend for Crossdressers/Transgender folk, which we found out about when we arrived. I have no problem with people doing their thing but it's not our thing so it was awkward to be there. We left and I have had no success connecting with Travelocity to get a refund.

The Rainbow Mountain resort is a very charming hotel up in the mountains of the Poconos. We stayed in a king cabin which was a one room cabin with a great porch that we enjoyed drinking wine and coffee on while taking in our beautiful surroundings. I enjoyed hiking at some amazing trails that were right down the street and saw over 6 deer just hanging out. We also had a great time at the Hayloft nightclub. We got to hang out with amazing open minded people and be ourselves. Stay at the Rainbow Mountain Resort if you are looking for a cabin to get closer to your partner and nature. I would suggest anyone staying to bring their own pillow and sheets and hairdryer it will make your stay perfect.
