Where are we?
The Onset Beach Compound is an inclusive resort featuring 3 stilt cottages built on a private beach. Located in the heart of historic Onset Village, the compound’s location is in the center of the gateway to Cape Cod, making it the perfect venue for travelers and guests to experience all that Cape Cod has to offer. Surrounded by one of the world’s most famous fisheries, waterparks, historic sites, and local restaurants, Onset Village has activities for everyone of all ages.
What we provide
The OBC is hosted and managed by #StayHere Exclusive Experience hosts. Our hosts pride themselves on creating the best experiences for guests, as well as accommodating any further requests and assisting guests with travel guidance and questions using their knowledge of Onset Village and Cape Cod. The #StayHere hosts also provide Experience Packages, unique gift baskets and games/activities that are ready to be used upon arrival. Party games, arts and crafts, s’mores ingredients and more will all be included within your stay here at the OBC.
The resort features a multitude of inclusive experiences that are provided and maintained for our guests regularly. Our private OBC Spa and hot tub, Kilian’s Locker (a wet storage unit and provider for boats, kayaks, fishing gear, etc.), The Compound’s Green and Gardens, The Doomsday Quad Bike, the #PlayHere Road Trailer (an on-site trailer which includes E-Bikes, sports games, and other activities), 2 moorings, and more upcoming projects that are constantly being developed by our activity specialists at #PlayHere. #PlayHere is responsible for creating experiences for our guests that can rarely be found at any other resort. You will see #PlayHere hosting live bands, yoga classes, sandcastle tournaments, and many other free activities that are hosted right here at the OBC. Among the #PlayHere “supplement menu”, guests also have the ability to book in-home massage therapy, private boat and yacht charters, or even a boat ride to Martha’s Vineyard.
About the Crab House
The Crab House is a small-scale cottage with room to sleep 8. The upstairs features a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and beautiful ocean views. Following the master suite, the guest bedroom features 3 twin beds, 2 of which are placed on a bunk bed. The downstairs includes a couch that can be converted into a queen bed, as well as a queen bed futon in the sunroom. The sunroom can be closed off with curtains for more privacy if needed.
The living space in the Crab House is highlighted by breathtaking ocean views from nearly every window. At first arrival, you will see the cozy sunroom where you can enjoy morning coffee while watching the sunrise. Walk into the main living area where there is a couch, a giant loveseat, and our oversized bean bags to hang out with friends. The entire space is equipped with SONOS surround sound, a smart TV, as well as multiple AC units and a gas heater for the wintertime.
The kitchen and bathroom in the Crab House are small and quaint, that of a typical cottage on the Cape. The bathroom features a stand-up stall shower, with included shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, and beach and bath towels. In the kitchen you will find a 4-top stove, microwave, and full cookery/eatery sets. The kitchen also provides a Keurig coffee maker, coffee grinder, pressure cooker, and crock pots, which will be stored in cabinets or provided upon request. The kitchen is always fully stocked with K-cups, coffee, popcorn, a Brita water filter, and other snacks for our guests.
Wi-Fi & Entertainment
Very fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection throughout the house as well as the entire resort. Streaming services are available on TVs. Wi-Fi password will be provided upon arrival.
Parking/Arrival
All doors on the property are locked and require a key code entry that is changed after every stay. The private driveway reserved for the Crab house can fit one car. Guests may fit one other car on the street directly behind the driveway. If your party requires more parking, please ask a host for nearby parking recommendations. Outdoor grounds are protected and monitored by security cameras 24/7.
General Rules & Safety
Check-out is at 9 am. Late check-out for 10 am is available and must be pre-approved at least 24 hours before initial check-in in respect to our hosts’ strict cleaning schedule.

No parties are permitted.

All pets must be pre-approved and kept on a leash at all times.

Town noise ordinance goes into effect every night at 11 pm.

Life vests must be on board any and all water vessels at all times.

Use of any resort property including games and boats must be returned to their respectable area after immediate use.

Respect other guests on the resort as most of the outdoor areas are shared.

The resort's beach is shared with a natural salt marsh habitat. Respect the closed off areas of the beach as they are heavily monitored by the resort as well as the town of Onset.

2 vehicles per house and parking rules must be followed in accordance with the town of Onset.

Smoking is not permitted in any house or in any shared outdoor areas.
