The property is very tired and old - carpets throughout smell musty - hallways are long and you have multiple steps to climb to get to your floor - elevator is central - arrived 1 hour early for check in after flying from florida to boston, renting car and driving 2 hours to hotel - they told me they could check me in early for an extra $50 (the parking lot was pretty empty) - bonus: location on the water, proximity to town, and the Indian restaurant attached - great food and service. Place needs a facelift - gem in the rough for now

I have a great time in the hotel but the phone in my room didn't work. The public restrooms on the first floor smelled very bad presumably from the night before and most of the dispensers were out of water. Apart from that, I think it’s a great hotel.

The bathroom was dirty a piece of the sink counter was missing black mold on grout in tub/shower the shower curtain was dirty and the window curtains were dirty. The lampshades were cracked. I would like a refund. The hall were lumpy and dirty and there were dirty bath towels in floor in hallway next to our room that no one picked up. If I could get a refund I would appreciate it and I recommend that you don’t put this as one of your properties you suggest to people.

Generally personable staff; room service was excellent. Stayed here at various times over the years, the place has been slowly upgrading. This trip I had my dog, so was assigned a pet-friendly room on the lower floor, not facing the water. Everything was adequate, but I know that some of the upper floor rooms facing the water are nicer. No coffee maker in the room; one has to go to the lobby for coffee. A small thing, to be sure.
