The staff, particularly the young woman, were very sweet, kind, and helpful. I felt safe in the hotel and could park my car within easy access to my room. I was warm enough and comfortable enough all night. Though I was not able to use the pool, it looked very inviting and is a great asset to the inn. I was attending an event in New Bedford for the weekend. I found it easy to get to New Bedford from the inn and easy to park there, as parking is free on Saturdays. I also found several nice restaurants and friendly people all around.

Upon checking there were no rooms on the first floor and was directed to the second floor which is more like a third floor with the half floor steps you had to climb no elevator. The room assigned was supposed to be a queen bed it was not. Pond complaining there was no manager available so we said we would just lodge a complaint and the front desk called back of graded our room to a king size bed on the first floor. There was some kind of odor in the hallways but couldn't identify it

Horrible service, misrepresentations of room, cleanliness, comfort and amenities. Staff was rude and ultimately unhelpful. Not a resort! Wouldn’t even consider it a cheap hotel! Best western provides better amenities and service. Giving it one star was a stretch!
