The location was a bit remote. The staff and view were excellent and the room ok. Did not use; so cannot rate housekeeping. Don’t over expect on breakfast, it’s coffee and tea, orange juice and pastry only. With that said, we would be inclined to maybe stay again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best little resort in Egg Harbor

We have always stayed on the other side and booked Egg Harbor this trip .This quant resort was just lovely. Fresh rolls and coffee in the morning and fresh towels if needed. Great sunsets and fire pits. Friendly staff. We will be back.

Rustic Location

The Shallows Resort was nice and quiet, located near the bay. Picturesque. The room was comfortable, especially the bed. All appeared clean, however the room did have a musty smell throughout our entire stay.

I liked the fire pit at the bay side for the guests. I liked the very personable staff. The room was very nice and clean. The fresh coffee in the gathering room was nice. The warm cinnamon donuts were okay.

We love that this property is right on the water, it's also quiet. We didn't care for the morning breakfast of a cinnamon bun loaded with icing, since we are both diabetics, however it was nice that they offered something. Would have wished for more variety.

Charming lakefront property, well maintained. We could enjoy a water view from our balcony, and had delightful visits with other guests around the fire pit during the evenings. Two comfortable chairs in our room were appreciated, along with complimentary breakfast rolls and coffee in the morning. We will return to the Shalllows!

Nice place, smokers not welcome, had to go to the road to smoke, otherwise, nice place. Office didnt open until 9 and door lock broke. Locked out and didn't like us going to maim house.

perfect summer getaway

We just returned from a wonderful 4 days at the Shallows We had a wonderful view from our room of Green Bay. A bonfire at night and warm fresh cinnamon rolls for breakfast What else could you want? We already booked our room for next summer
