Village of Elk Rapids Walk to Beach


3 bed 2 bath updated ranch home with patio/BBQ area and fenced in back yard. This south end neighborhood is one block to the Elk Rapids Day Park and backs up to a natural area. The harbor side downtown is 1 mile away with great beaches shops and restaurants. 20 minutes from Traverse City.

The house has solid surface flooring throughout. All new beds and modern furnishings.

The master suite has a queen size bed, private bathroom and patio entrance.

The second bedroom is fit with a Full XL size bed which is narrower than a queen but the same length.

The small bedroom has two twin size beds one also being XL.

Upon request a folding memory foam bed can also be available for additional guests to utilize the living room as sleeping space.

The neighborhood is very quiet with the opportunity to hear many beautiful song birds. The day park is a great place to walk and enjoy the woodland trails along Grand Traverse Bay.

Property was exceptionally clean!! Host went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. House was well stocked. Very short walk to local Day Park with lovely beach. Cute town with awesome beaches and play ground less than a mile away. We very much enjoyed our stay!

The mater room is huge. The place is simply decorated but beautiful. Location is great right across the street basically from the bay. It was perfect.

Excellent Host, Elegant House!

Beautiful and comfortable. Host has provided all the things you would need and has gone above and beyond any place I have rented in the past. Keurig in the main Bedroom and amazing Ninja coffee maker in the kitchen with nice coffee provided for example. Bikes, backpacks, all the beach stuff you need, games, first aid kit-I could go on and on. Host is very generous, no check in or check out hassle. We enjoyed our stay, the only dissapointment was having to leave.

Amazing!

Elk Rapids is a beautiful little town and this property is a great home base. It located in a quiet neighborhood, only steps across the street to a public beach with an awesome sculpture park to walk through. The house itself has everything you need and I especially appreciated the comfortable bedding. Would definitely stay again!

Great weekend

We had an amazing experience at the property. It was so quaint and beautiful. Beds were super comfy! Check in and out were super simple. Response time from the owner was very quick! Price was definitely worth it. 100% would stay there again!

We had a very nice stay (4 nights). Property was clean and very well equipped with good appliances and everyday paper and kitchen supplies, etc. We use a walker to get around, and had no problem with access. We will probably book again in the future.

Our family enjoyed the layout and nice renovations of the home. Every bed was incredibly comfortable. All the items our family needed for cooking, beaching, laundry, and relaxing was available to us. We loved the recommendations of best beaches and checkin/checkout was painless and easy. A wonderful experience for family of 5.

Very clean, cute and great location about 15 minutes from Traverse city. We enjoyed the beach/park across the street and host was very accommodating. Power went out due to a storm and he was very responsive. Nice backyard for the dogs was a plus.

Over-flow house

A very nice place for our use as an over-flow house for a family week in Elk Rapids. Our family out grew our long-time rental directly on the bay and this rental provided us the extra space we needed. The property manager was extremely responsive to any questions, etc. We all love Elk Rapids.

Summer stay

Excellent experience. The house was even better than the photos depicted. Very clean, rooms comfortable and cozy sheets. Plenty of sitting room. Backyard fenced in and was great for the dog. It’s a shame they will no longer be offering accommodations for dogs, it’s one of the best places we’ve stayed. Very nice coffee maker and kitchen utensils. Grill in yard is large and clean. Bathrooms appear updated and lots of little amenities available. Sculpture park and Lake Michigan access across the street. Downtown elk rapids is about 1 mile away, very nice small town with few restaurants and ice cream parlors. About 20 min drive to traverse city and 1 hour to sleeping bear dunes. My family and I very much enjoyed our stay and absolutely recommend, especially for those who want easy access to TC and Sleeping Bear Dunes, while avoiding congestion/ over crowding with easy beach access.

Wedding Weekend

We had a great time at this cottage. Very updated. Extremely comfortable. Felt like a nice hotel. They thought of everything you would need. Very happy with the space. We stood up in a wedding and knew we had a nice play to go back to after the rehearsal and the wedding. I think it would be a great place to take a family too. Very close to town!
