2 minutes after getting into the room all the power went out in the building, then we had no water or power - I was able to reach the desk (even though it was just after 6) and they said they would get back to me after talking to the owner. No one contacted me again that night. after multiple calls to the number and texts to the what’s app number there was no response and we had no water. We had to spend our dinner calling other hotels and we ended up paying over double to move to a new hotel at midnight. In the morning we went to the desk and asked for a refund, they said Expedia had to refund us, so we contacted Expedia but now the owner is saying that we can’t have a refund even though we did not stay even one night. We think the owner should be responsible to refund us and cover the difference in cost we had to pay for a last minute hotel in peak season or they should be removed from expedia so that customers can trust they won’t be scammed.
