The hallways, elevator, lobby were not clean. The room itself appeared to not have been vacuumed. The furnishings in the room are old and damaged. The entire property needs to be refurbished and maintained better.

Not maintained first room had no remote moved to another room, had to go to front desk to get a light bulb for a lamp today was blown. A roach was in the room.. Bathtub was dirty and rough finishing, sink had a leak. Only 1 person on duty and had to wait for maintenance the next day. Hotel is not well maintained, quality has gone down a lot

Good stay but fixes are needed to the building.

It was a good stay but the property is old and you could smell it as soon as you enter the lobby. The outside is very well maintained. The front door paint is sloppy and immediately raises concerns. We felt safe but the room door to Room 415 did not close naturally. You had to pull the door closed to ensure the lock engaged. The elevator works but the panel is old and difficult to read the floor numbers. Easy fixes on most things. It could also use a bit more lighting by the check in area. It’s low ceiling by check in area and more lights would improve the feeling that it’s an older hotel.

Disappointing Establishment

This hotel was very disappointing. The reviews seemed good and the pictures looked nice, but our experience did not match. First, the hotel had an unpleasant smell as soon as you walked in the lobby, which continued into the hallways as well (at least on the second floor which is where our room was). The room itself had major issues, including: 1) the TV didn't work; 2) something (I presume the AC unit from the room above us) constantly dripped onto our window sill, which was very annoying to listen to and required us to keep our fan on the entire time to drown out the drip, drip, drip; 3) the sink in the bathroom leaked onto the floor underneath the sink bowl; 4) turning on the cold water in the sink did not produce any cold water; 5) the tub and bathroom area were not very clean; 6) there was a bug (a small beetle) in one of the beds (crawling near the pillow). Overall the hotel seemed as if it is just not very well maintained (in addition to the above, the elevator was kind of sketchy as well). We stayed here because the price was decent and the hotel looked nice online, but while the exterior of the hotel is fine, I would definitely pay more next time to stay someplace a little nicer. The one nice thing I can say is that the staff were friendly and helpful, but that's about it.
