G607 is a pet friendly one bedroom condo located on the 1st floor of Gearhart House. This unit has limited ocean views. The main bedroom features a queen bed. The bedroom is not an ideal location as the window is near the elevator and the steps and the ramp so you get a lot of noise throughout the stay. Cannot open window or blinds as too many people walking past at all hours. Carpet was cleaned but very stained.

Enjoyed the accommodations, close to beach and beach drive-on access. Stayed a week - enjoyed relaxing, walking on the beach and playing with dog on beach.

This was more than we were hoping for. My husband is disabled and our room was right by the ramp, so convenient! Also pet friendly which is a must for us. And on top of all that we could literally drive down ON to the beach. Great place all around!

Great stay

We enjoyed our 3 night stay, there were four of us plus our dog. We did bring a twin blow up mattress and plenty of room in the living room for that plus the pull out couch for the kids. The room had a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and short walk to the beach. No cleaning fee was a huge plus as felt like a home with hotel perks.

Good place to stay across from Gearhart Golf Links.

Unit pretty well equipped; a little dated and no garbage disposal, so that was odd. Kitchen trash can lid was broken. Nice linens and towels; bed comfortable, plenty of blankets and pillows; kitchen well equipped; however it would be nice to have a Keurig or similar coffee machine; and some water provided in the fridge as well as some snacks; other places I’ve stayed have all kinds of snacks; none here. Shower is pretty dated as well; faucet a bit tricky to figure out. All in all not bad, but a bit pricey for such an old place.

Great beach stay

Overall a great beach stay. It’s a short walk to the waves. The current photos of the listing doesn’t match the current furnishings. It’s been updated and looks so much better then the photos. The bed and pull out couch was comfortable. We did have a housekeeping/cleanliness issue in the bedroom, but it was handled quickly; a few hours from notifying management. The hot tub in the community pool area is not properly heating, which was a bummer, because it would’ve been great to use after a cold sunset walk on the beach. I would stay here again for a beach get away.

Even better than advertised!

Comfortable, quiet, and clean. We had an absolutely wonderful weekend here. 5 minute walk to the beach, nice views even from the first floor. The TV and couch are both upgraded from the picture on the listing. I'd love to stay here again.

We appreciated that we were able to check in on time and Becca, in the office, was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. The bed was comfortable. This is a pet condo and overall, the condo was clean, but the carpet and couch could use a deep clean, or be replaced.

Just what we needed

This place was nicer in person than the photos made it look. I also had no idea how close it was to the beach, just a few blocks. We loved this unit, everything was great, except the bed. Other reviewers said it too. That bed was uncomfortable! But otherwise we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back.

Small things go a long way....it would be huge to put a darkening curtain in the bedroom to block parking lot light. This was mentioned in a previous review so I assumed it had been addressed. It has not. Clean property, nice area. Some things are worn (such as rugs coming apart) but overall a cozy stay.

Terrible Beds

Both the master bed and pull out bed were terrible. I actually pulled up the bedding on the master bed to see if it was a mattress of cement slab. I had two teenage girls sleeping on the hideabed and the bed slopes so far toward the couch their heads were below the rest of their bodies. Would not recommend just due to the bedding. Also there is an overwhelming musty smell.

Convenient to Gearhart Links

These condos are directly across from the golf course and McMenemin’s. This is a first floor unit so that is handy but there is less of a view. The kitchen is well appointed and there is plenty of space in the unit. The bed is comfortable bit the blinds let in light from the parking area.
