The Space:

G612 is a one bedroom condo located on the 1st floor of Gearhart House. Steps to the beach. Main bedroom has a King bed. Sleeper sofa located in the living room. Wood stove in living room for those chilly coastal nights. Private deck.





This unit has basic cookware, dishes, and silverware available. We do not provide oil, seasoning, or any other additional items. Microwave and drip coffee machine in the unit.

You must be 21 to RESERVE and CHECK-IN

Gearhart House guests have access to an indoor heated pool, hot tub and exercise room.

Seashells by the Seashore

First time to Oregon for our family. The condo was a perfect size for two adults and two kids. While it could use some updating I was surprised by how comfortable the bed and pull out couch were (memory foam pull out). We had the most fun at this beach because of all the seashells, sand dollars, & jellyfish. Go early in the morning when the tide goes out to collect your treasures. Easy drive to Cannon Beach which has great shopping and restaurants. Seaside was quaint and quiet, I couldn't believe how quiet the whole property was. comfortable the bed and the pull out couch were.

Outdated but sufficient

Our room was a blast from the past. We appreciated the retro vibe except for a few things. A few cheap updates would really elevate the space like a new kitchen faucet and some fresh pots for cooking. The Internet was also too slow to stream from our own devices so my husband had to figure out the DVD player which wasn't connected. We went old school and got some Redbox. The comforter on the bed was not clean. The sleeper sofa was comfortable, however, for my kids. And we enjoyed the pool immensely. Overall it was a nice place that met our basic needs for the two nights we were there.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay, so much we now have a new favorite costal stay. Close to a lot of amenities, close to the beach and really enjoyed seeing the elk. Room was big, comfortable, staff were very friendly, and price was great.

No view of ocean except tops of roofs. Quiet, clean , convenient location on first floor, tub had grab bar to hold onto for entering and exiting. I hope the property management fixed the toilet because it would "run". We tried to fix it but fixture was very old.

We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the property. We found the sofa to be a bit tired and difficult to sit on for extended periods. It's the beach and you should not be on the couch anyway...

Nice

Wonderful short walk to the beach! Found lots of sand dollars! However, the property is very outdated and the furniture is falling apart (you can feel the springs pushing through). Unfortunately, the unit smelt like Chinese food for some reason. We bought a candle and opened the windows to try and help. We mostly were gone, so tolerable. Very friendly staff. If came back, would select a different unit.
