The Space:

G643 is a one bedroom pet friendly condo located on the 2nd floor of Gearhart House. One cat or dog allowed, fee is $20.00 per night. Pets are NOT to be left unattended in the unit.





Bedroom has a King bed. Sleeper sofa in the living room. TV and DVD player. Private deck with lovely southwest ocean view, including a view of Tillamook Head. Just a few minute stroll down to the beach. Woodstove for those chilly coastal nights.





This unit has basic cookware, dishes, and silverware available. We do not provide oil, seasoning, or any other additional items. Microwave and drip coffee machine in the unit.

You must be 21 to RESERVE and CHECK-IN





Gearhart House guests have access to an indoor heated pool, hot tub and exercise room.

**Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, this includes the patio areas, balconies and common areas**

Love Gearhart

Extended family staying at a variety of accommodations in close proximity. Ages 5 to 92. And dogs. Been coming for decades. Beach, golf, hikes, pools, cards, Seaside etc. Terry-Ann in GBTS office was super helpful.

We were very impressed by the congeniality of ALL the staff at Gearhart by the Sea. The condos seem to be very well insulated, very quiet. Also saw a great whale display from our balcony!

We switched to this unit so we would have the woodstove. Very pleased with the amount of room, comfortable bed and furniture. Really enjoyed the view off balcony.

We booked a last minute beach trip to celebrate my daughter and my birthdays. We had a great time. This place was perfect, close to the beach, and right across the street from one of our favorite restaurants.

Nice location, but .....

The location is close to the beach which is nice. The unit was comfortable but needs updating. The sofas need replacing and aren't very comfortable. The bed is comfortable. The view from the deck is nice and you can see the sunset from there. There was no info provided as to how to check in, and the owner never responded to my request for check-in details. I had to call the office. The unit needs: scissors, a set of plugs next to each side of the bed (not enough plugs for gadgets), suitcase stands, more kitchen towels, soap dish in bathroom, brighter light in bedroom, bigger TV, new sofas and a recliner. We used extra bedroom pillows when sitting/laying on the sofas for comfort and support. We had to unload the dishwasher when we got there as it was full of clean dishes. I wouldn't stay in this unit again, but would look for an updated unit instead.

Very nice stay. Clean condo and a great location. The furniture had some dings but that’s to be expected. The view from the condo was beautiful. Overall we had a great time. We hope to be back soon.

Great location

The property is easy to access and has a wonderful deck and ocean view. Good water pressure in the shower. Comfortable king size bed. It's nice that it's pet friendly. The furniture is a little shabby but we covered it with some extra sheets. I wouldn't go through VRBO again, I don't like the VRBO internet system. It gave us no instructions on how to access the property. I had to call the 1-800 number in a last minute panic to find out. I would just go directly to Gearhart condos.

Great Time by the Beach

We checked in on Friday of Labor Day Weekend. The check-in was quick and easy and the unit was great. Beautiful Ocean view and clean and well appointed. It was a short drive to Seaside for all the festivities and Restaurants, or you could stay there and enjoy McMenamins. We hope to visit again in the near future

Cleanliness of unit

Gearhart property itself is very nice and in a great location. The unit itself was not cleaned well. Floor in the kitchen was filthy. I spilled some water and when I wiped it up the floor it was not just a little dirty, but black dirty. Like it hadn’t been washed in a long time. Also, when I went to make coffee the first morning I found the coffee pot pieces in the dishwasher with a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Couches are filthy! Need to be replaced.

location was great and good view kitchen items were good but not salt or oil like basic spices staying almost one week, not enough toilet papers or soaps you need to go to the office to get toilet papers, soaps etc.

Great view

I’m going to start with the great things about this condo, 1. The view is amazing, 2. The staff was very friendly and helpful and 3. The location is perfect. This condo definitely needs some updating, the couch was extremely uncomfortable, the carpet felt gross, the TV was extremely small. It just felt dirty and we weren’t a fan. Also really frustrating that there was no cleaning service, I don’t mind cleaning up, but we ran out of towels, and our garbage was getting out of control, I finally called and was told we had to walk it to the garbage(which is fine, but we would have loved to know that earlier into the trip). All in all, I would stay at this location again, just not this specific condo. Also, the dishwasher was never unloaded, so we had to unload someone else’s mess, which was really annoying.

Super clean - great location - lovely view! Pull out coach is not comfortable- so you may want to bring an air mattress Smells a bit like dog pee - but being a dog owner we understand and so grateful this place excepts pets. We will be back!

Pet friendly should still mean a clean environment

We stayed for 3 nights. The first 2 nights we stayed in our room we booked. The couches were very dirty. We used a blanket to cover them for use. The blankets smelled a lot. They were doing xo structure next door, so we heard drilling and hammering from 10am to evening. When asked to switch rooms we were given a new room and were charged more to stay there. We spoke with the manager and she said we could not get a credit for the issues nor would ahw do anything but switch us rooms. Disappointing to say the least.
