This is my 2nd time at a Hampton Inn and I think it's becoming my favorite chain! This particular one can't be more than 3 years old. It's a charming hotel and loved the decor, as well as the fireplace in the dining area. My room was spotless, the shower was large and amazing. The bed is comfortable but high, so some effort was needed getting up there for me but that's because I am short. Breakfast was great for a hotel of that size. The front desk staff were all polite and friendly. I only stayed 1 night to catch my Amtrak train to DC from Selma. Next time, I will stay a couple more nights to really enjoy it. Thank you for the hospitality and beautiful hotel.

The room should have been serviced more than it was. We were there for a week and it was barely cleaned. We had to ask for towels a lot. We went for three days without the room being cleaned! We saw police at the hotel in the lobby one day. Not sure if we would stay there again.

Wonderfully hospitable staff on check in, check out, and a delicious breakfast. Thank you, everyone!!! The staff gets 5 stars!!! The building itself was nice, but full disclosure, in the morning we could hear everyone coming and going in the hallway. Clearly. Chunks of conversation, the sound of luggage. No hotel should be constructed without decent sound proofing. 5 star staff. 3 star building.
