Our original room smelled of smoke. Staff changed it for us promptly. Second room smelled the same. We figured it was not smoke but 'old' - this property really needs refreshing. Also, in the first room, there were what appeared to be blood stains on the duvet cover, on the side. The room set aside for the included breakfast was entirely too small to allow enough patrons to be seated.

Its an old hotel, so dont expect opulence. It does smell a bit but overall its fine for the price you pay. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

2 story building with no elevator, so if you are physically challenged make sure you request a ground floor unit. Noisey air/heat vent, with no controls - so couldn't be turned off or to adjust air flow. Old style toilet, very close to floor Beds creeked. Ground floor had a very small breakfast location providing 3 tables with 2 chairs to each left customers waiting to get a table. This hotel is well past its prime.

We stayed one night here with a golden retriever and they accommodated well . Very clean . Staff were fabulous and the breakfast was perfect . Loved the coffee/ Tea at anytime of day . Would stay here again for sure .

Old and worn

Smell at front door then clear. Couch bed old, not comfortable. 1 of 2 sliding doors won’t close. Food excellent but small dining room. Eco to reuse towels but the didn’t even wipe sink and countertop
