Great place for my first night in Hanoi

I only stayed here for one night during my time in Hanoi, but really enjoyed it. The location of the hotel is quite convenient in that it's about 10 minutes from the old quarter and taxi drivers know the hotel by name. I opted for the luxury room, and I'm not sure if it was worth the upgrade, but I ended up with a view nice view of the lake from my room. The room was clean and the welcome chocolates and fruit made me happy. I didn't interact with the staff that much, but they seemed nice.
