You'll feel at home in the hills nestled in this beautiful fully furnished 2 bdr 1 bath home. Renovated in 2019. Detached 2 car garage. Sit on the wrap around porch and take in all nature has to offer including a stream, deer and turkeys. Close to all attractions in the Black Hills and Rapid City. Walk to downtown with its restaurants, quaint shops and art galleries. Micolson walking trail is right behind us. Parking galore. Owners occasionally may stay in the studio behind the detached garage

House was a little smaller than we expected from the photos, but overall worked very well for two couples. Owner was very friendly and helpful with local suggestions on restaurants and sights. Also had a couple of bikes for use on the trail next to the property. Would stay here again!

Nice house. Nice area

The house was nice. It worked well for us. Location was good. I wish it would have been a little more private but I knew there was a possibility the owners would be staying in the studio attached to the garage. I also would have liked to park in the garage but due to bookshelves in there my vehicle wouldn’t fit but there wasn’t any bad weather so it all worked out.

Quiet, Well-equipped home, close to many SD attractions

Our family of four loved how central the home was. It's quiet, with deer visiting the yard frequently. It's close to restaurants, downtown, a grocery store (for a repreave from eating out), trail heads, and a 20-40 minutes (or less) commute to many of the must-see attractions in SD. It was a great fit for our family and it had all we needed to be our home-base while we were on vacation for the week!

Ken and his wife were very accommodating to my family and me. The property was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable to stay in. I would definitely recommend staying with these hosts to anyone wanting to take a vacation in the Black Hills.

Did not like only Roku TV. Could not find any live local channels for info and weather. Could not watch live sports games. Hot water in kitchen barely works. Beds were hard for out taste. Owner was friendly and gave us tips on where to eat or visit in area.

SD trip

House was adequate except no air conditioning in bedrooms. Paper towels were hung as curtains on front door. Discrepancies in check in times as well as door code and parking. Owner stays in apartment behind garage. 1/2 of Garage was supposed to be available for use but was full. South Dakota is beautiful.

Great home with great views.

This is a perfect place to stay while seeing the Black Hills. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Hill City. Well furnished and clean. The owners were easy to work with. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit.

Good central location in the Black Hills

This is a nice place, tucked in by a wonderful trail and the local football field. Very quiet area and lots of wildlife. A central location for exploring both the north and south ends of the Black Hills. The house had all the amenities we needed and just enough room for a couple and a dog.

Great location in the Black Hills

Great location, next to a nature trail, a small river stream, and the school football field/track. lots of wildlife running nearby (deer, rabbits, lots of birds). We would go for a walk on the trail and school track in the mornings. Ken, the owner, stayed onsite during our stay,was very helpful and quick to respond. Had no issues and would love to stay again.

Family Vacation

Loved the flowing creek in the morning which had a family of deer to watch each morning. Great location in the middle of all the sites, Custer, Rushmore, Spearfish, Deadwood and Rapid City.
