Only issues is limited seating spaces for breakfast ! Long Q for breakfast. Hotel location is close to Hiroshima JR and Shinkansen station and bus tram. Next to Lawson and close to a major supermarket.

- the corridor and the room smelled like cigarettes. We were not aware this was a smoker hotel. - the beds were very, very firm. It had an impactin the quality of our sleep.

Everything about the room and the hotel was fine, except for the bed. This was by far the hardest mattress I have ever slept on - hardly an upgrade over sleeping directly on the floor. Neither my wife or I slept well as neither of us could get comfortable and tossed & turned the whole night. The pillows were not great either, but consistent with other hotels we have stayed at in Japan where they are very "bean-bag" like.

THIS IS THE HOTEL! All friendly staff, great and numerous facilities. Grocery store close by, omiyage store next door. Bakeries within walking distance. Great views. I hope to stay here again. Even if I don't get lucky enough to be top floor.

It would be helpful if the property advised its guests about the fact that the room key is needed to turn lights on and use the elevator. The premises were clean and the breakfast made in the kitchen was appreciated. All basic needs met...laundry room on premises is nice, but again hotel needs to maybe post operating instructions in English in a prominent place. Staff was very helpful even thought they spoke little English. Japan has wonderful service!
