You can swim in Åhus, there is a wonderful sandy beach. There are also beaches in Kivik, Sanhammaren and Löderups. In nearby Kristianstad you can stroll and good shopping you will in Malmö.

The owner tells: From the middle of the 19th century dates your vacation accommodation. Here was built for employees on the Giviks manor of Gyllingalängen on Lake Immeln. The work here was especially kind, because it also took place in the granite quarry. The population were the heirs of the Snapphanarna, freedom fighters who saw themselves as Danes rather than Swedes. There are many stories about when The Snapphanarna came across the dark waters of Lake Immeln and hid belongings among the local population. Immeln's 365 lakes were a challenge for the Swedish army. But finally the last battle axes were buried in the northeast of Schonen. Our Östra Göinge - the green heart of Schonen - is rich in fish, lakes, game and forests.
