Nice stay

Our check in was less than enthusiastic and we felt like we interrupted their break time. The room was nice but the cobalt blue wallpaper in the bathroom had drips and stains on it. The breakfast was okay. A small typical hotel breakfast..

Early check- in was appreciated. Toilet by front desk would not flush, broken. Two days later noticed it still was not fixed after letting front desk know two days prior that it was broken. Our room did not have a working exhaust fan in our rooms bathroom. Any ?’s we asked about directions, restaurants, or any info about the area, not one person at the front desk knew anything. Some said they were not from the area and didn’t know. Would not ask someone that could answer our ?’s. Morning of our check-out, the continental breakfast was to be open and ready by 7:00am. Was not ready until 8:00am. I will never stay at a Marriott again. Will always go to any of the Hiltons, which are exceptional all around!

Several unpleasant experiences during our one night stay. Staff weren't friendly, the lady at the front during check-in rolled her eyes at my question of if they had forks so that we could eat the mac n cheese we bought from the snack area. Bugs in bed noticed in the morning after the night full of itching- management was notified but they didn't attempt to make it right with us. While kids were swimming, there were drunk guys sitting outside, many large alcohol bottles on the table, one of them throwing up in the trash can. Very rowdy so we cut the swimming short and retreated to the room. We usually love Fairfield Inns and seek them out when we travel for our kids' many sports but we won't be staying there again.
