Great space! 1 bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs. Kids loved having their own space. Hot tub was big enough for all 4 of us with no issues. Kept clean and nicely heated. Loved that had a dining table for 6. We were able to cook and have our daughter and family join for dinner. Much more enjoyable than a small hotel room.
This is a beautiful appearing house in a fantastic location but the photos are clearly from when construction was completed not current. The 3rd level deck is completely dilapidated as the prior reviewer had noted: cushions missing and/or torn, grill in disrepair, and warped deck boards. The kitchen has a nonfunctional dishwasher, the sink water doesnât get hot, digital display on stove does not work, neither does ice maker. This place would be cool to stay in for the location if you were just sleeping there and going out but we stayed there over thanksgiving planning to cook a full dinner, so that was rather disappointing. The whole house really was awesome at one time but had not been managed well unfortunately.
After seeing how severely moldy and unkempt the rooftop patio was, and that its centerpiece amenity (the flame table) was non-functioning, we feared the hot tub might harm us, so we never opened it. The rooftop patio was coated with black mold everywhere. Plus, cushions were torn and disheveled, grill was filthy, and both trash containers were full of someone else's trash! We are 3 senior-aged sisters who rented this while competing at the World Food Championships, making the stove and oven vital for us to practice. However, the oven's digital temperature read out is non-functioning, making it impossible to set the oven, and the stoveâs overhead light is also non-functioning, leaving us to cook in the dark. The refrigerator's ice maker is non-functioning, forcing me to instacart a bag at a 20 cost to me, and it took up freezer space we needed. The great room's main front window curtain is falling off its rod, making the space appear disheveled, and if that were not enough, when we stripped the beds to gather our dirty linens in the hampers we were shocked to discover that the bed on the main floor had a large bloodstain and other large bodily fluid stains on it. The condition of this unit is unacceptable. The severe black mold issue needs to be addressed for health safety issues, and the long list of appliance failures also needs to be resolved because I feel cheated out of the delightful time I had planned with my sisters by staying there.
We had a wonderful time at this property when we were in Indianapolis for an event. It was easy to find street parking, and the neighborhood was quiet and easily walkable. Within the home, we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Our only concern was the cleanliness of the hot tub, which may have been left uncovered by a previous user. Once we cleaned out the leaves and other debris, everything was great. We would definitely stay here again!
Our stay at this beautiful home was nothing short of wonderful. Rooftop views made for the perfect place for morning coffees and evenings sunsets. Communication with the property team was responsive from time of booking through even checking to make sure all is well during our stay. Free street parking and walking distance to good coffee and restaurants.
The home was amazing. Had a small hiccup with the gas fireplace but the host took care of it very quickly. The rooftop deck was VERY cool. Will look at a longer stay next time... we love Fountain Square and Indy.
Some buddies and I came up for a golf trip and the house was nice and clean and a nice place to stay. 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms was a huge plus. Only complaint was the beds were a little stiff and could use some more fans in the bedrooms (plug in or ceiling).
We booked this for the ecplise! The rooftop deck was perfect for viewing and grilling out with firends. The neighborhood is very walkable with lots of nice places to browse and eat.
