We stayed here for a weekend family event in Martinsville, and it was the perfect place to relax between all the festivities. The home was very clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with more than enough room for our family of four. In fact, it felt incredibly spacious. Host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the process, making everything easy from booking through checkout. We really appreciated having such a quiet place to recharge after busy days. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and hope to stay here again the next time we're in town!

Very clean facility and the bed was quite comfy. Best sleep I had in years. We did not use the kitchen at all so I can't attest to how stocked it is with cooking supplies. Looks like it has all the basics. Had to go hunt towels as there were none put in our bathroom. Note to owner: please advise staff to at least try to fold the sheets. The linen closet was a jumbled mess. I would also add a couple of supports to the longer handrail. I am handicapped and had to rely on the handrails to get up and down the stairs. The longer handrail sagged when I put my weight on it. I had not taken the time to notice that the bedrooms were all upstairs or I would have passed on renting this property. It all worked out though as I got a good workout navigating the stairs. Loved the big comfy reclining couch chairs. PLEASE leave some instructions as to how to access the wi-fi, use the door codes and what to do upon checkout - i.e. to strip beds or not, take out trash or not, etc. Oh, and it's customary to put the chairs back in place at the bar and dining table rather than leave them upended on the table after vacuuming. .Compared to other rentals in the area, it was very reasonably priced. Lots of restaurant choices nearby along with the Walmart if you need anything. Wings Etc has good food and service, and we ate breakfast every day at Early Birds - excellent choice of dishes, great coffee and amazing staff. Us gals decided we were not cooking this trip! Would stay here again!!
