Very Bad Service

We informed the hotel that we will arrive late after mid night by three am after an over night flight and the hotel informed that it will not be a problem. Finally, when we arrived by three am, there was no one at the hotel reception, they did not answer the call, the hotels.com help desk also could not reach them and we finally got our room at seven thirty am.

Traveling through Indianapolis this was an easy off I-70/I-465 Since I've never stayed at a residence hotel/motel I was surprised by the larger room, all the storage space and a full sized refrigerator. The room was sparsely decorated, which was fine. The bed was comfortable and the room was reasonably quiet considering it was at the junction of 2 highways and not far from an airport.

Staff was ok, room was almost a complete mess when I checked in. I didn’t have ANY clean towels. Fortunately, housekeeping was still on my floor, so I could get some clean towels.

Likes: very convenient to airport; gas station next door; composite flooring in room, clean Not as good: very small lobby; was unattended when I arrived at a little after 7 pm. Waited 5-10 minutes for someone to appear. Attendant very polite after arriving. A little more people noise (Friday night) than sometimes, but was never very loud and quieted down at a reasonable hour.

Clean that’s about it

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. The chair in our room looked like a cat had scratched it up. The fridge did not work, the ac worked barely. When we first got in our room it reeked of what smelled like stale marijuana. It made my eyes water and burn. When we came back that night the smell was gone. .
