Wonderful experience

We enjoyed our stay at M Roof. The room was spacious for the price and the view outside was unblocked, peaceful. Many nice eateries within 10mins by car from hotel. Overall I will recommend you to my friends, thank you

This is a nice, clean hotel but impractical on a number of levels. Unfortunately the location is completely impractical unless you have a car. There is a row of shops a 5 minute walk from the hotel but no footpaths. Every attraction is at least a 30 minute walk so transportation is required. The hotel room is really nice but impractical. If you want to use a plug you have to unplug something as there are no free sockets. A hairdryer is provided but it is hardwired in the bedroom area with no mirrors available. Limited storage space. Nice toiletries provided. No soundproofing, you can hear guests in the corridor and road noise from outside, however the road quietens by midnight. The redeeming feature for me was the free self laundry facilities provided, I wish all hotels had this. Staff pleasant at check in but all very impersonal. I would only recommend this hotel if you have a car.

The room was not very clean, TV was not working properly. The sink drain did not drain properly and floors were not clean when we checked in. We had to call room service a few times to fix things. We will not be staying in this hotel again.

Pleasant clean hotel in Ipoh

Pleasant clean hotel with nice staff. I like the rooftop pool and gym. Unfortunately the pool and gym closed after 7 pm.

All good except your swimming pool is poorly maintained.. after got into the pool we felt itchy even after shower. the edge of the tiles around the pool is sharp, unsafe and dangerous beside than the water was full of dirt and sand. Suggest you might want to have your team to look into it or someone might get hurt. p.s - my junior suite pillow have an unpleasant smell.

Pool needs maintenance

Nicely appointed hotel, but could improve on certain things. The pool needs more maintenance - it has quite a few chipped tiles that could be dangerous. We felt the sharp edges a few times during our swim sessions, and are lucky not to be hurt. Also, the ladder was missing a few steps the first time we were in the pool, but that was fixed the next time we went. The pillows are also rather soft, but I guess that could be a personal preference. Finally, stickers in the bathroom advised us that, if we want to reuse the towels, we should hang them up. However, our towels were always replaced even though we had hung them up.

It was good, cleanliness surrounding the grout of bathrooms and luggage benches needed to be wiped on general rubbing marks. The swimming pool, and general flooring/ hidden areas should be better attention to cleaning, not just glossing over - The hotel is only 5 yo, and the effort of polishing/ cleaning of public areas, or wall paints needed better protection of weather - generally maintained to good standards. Thank you.
