The staff was professional and the hotel is very boutique. The breakfast was outstanding and the view from the top floor more so. My only complaint is the smell in the room - they put some powerful floral/perfume fragrance - and I mean overpowering, and they/we could not get rid of it. I sniffled all night. Other than that, there was some loud constriction outside but I expect that’s just unfortunate.

The two things that stood out the most to me were: a) the central location, which was right next to the Egyptian bazaar, and had a rooftop breakfast room with an amazing view of the mosque nearby, and b) the SERVICE. Everyone of the staff that we encountered was extremely helpful. We had to leave at 4 AM for our flight, so th hotel packed us two sandwiches and water to take with us. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a very interesting hotel that we really loved being in. It almost blends into the street; in fact, it’s hard to find. But once found, it is a really nice hotel in a great location. It is directly behind the Spice Bazaar. The room was outstanding. But, mostly I want to applaud the staff. They are extremely friendly and helpful. Will stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location to the spice markets and waterfront. Drop off/pick up from hotel not available from 10am to 8pm best tip otherwise you need to take your bags all day the way down to waterfront to get taxi or uber

The hotel is right in the middle of the busy tourist area. Everything you would want to visit is within walking distance . Rooms are small but nice. The staff are excellent and could not be more helpful. I had to ship my suitcase back and they were kind and went out of their way to help me with this.

Fantastic location for Istanbul. You are right above the spice market and walk right out to explore. There are endless dining options around the hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast views can’t be beat.

The hotel is a real surprise. Located in one of Istanbul's busiest quarters, near the Spice Market, it is an old building that has been completely renovated. Rooms are great, and the linen and mattresses are of great quality. Air conditioning works perfectly and the views, above the third floor are not postcard but sufficiently luminous over the central part of the city. The hotel is 2 blocks from the main tramway line, which takes you to all the visitors' highlights: Saint Sophia, unfortunately re-converted into a mosque by Erdogan a few years back (you can only visit the galleries on the second floor, the Blue Mosque, the old Reservoir and plenty of shops, Turkish baths, Constantine column and also some old shops with all you can get in Turkey. It's not expensive for what you get: an honest, clean, beautiful interior, with an abundant breakfast served on the 7th floor with views of the City and an open terrace at night that guests can use at night. I also recommend the 4-hour tour of the Bosphorus, which is pricey (50 Euro) but worth it. Highly recommended.
