I had an excellent stay at the Magnaura Palace Hotel! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the location was convenient to major landmarks and public transportation, and the room was spacious and clean! Good toiletries provided as well.

Magnaura has excellent location. However, it is not as grand as it looks in the photos. It has a small lobby and front. The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. However, the owner who works at the breakfast restaurant was very unfriendly every morning.He didn’t greet or acknowledge us when we said good morning. We asked what the food were as the food had no labels. He seemed annoyed and didn’t appreciate our business. I would not recommend this place as we didn’t feel welcome. We stayed for 4 nights and we couldn’t wait to leave so we didn’t have to see him again. When we go on vacation, we always look forward to our hotel breakfast. He ruined the experience for us.

Magnaura hotel has the best Hosts. They speak English. Item is a tour guide. There service including hospitality is excellent. Nursi is a real gem. Item also and of course Ali. The breakfast buffet had more food then you could possibly eat. Dinner on the Terrace also very good. Location is unbeatable and bus to airport not even a block away. Metro also. Rd to this property is located between Sophia Hagia and the Blue Mosque. Excellent price to stay. Cant say enough. This should be your choice. You will not be disappointed. Only setback is one elevator and steps. If you can't walk...suggest a new place and Istanbul should not be a place to visit.

Great hotel

We were very satisfied with our stay. Hotel is very close to major attractions. Very clean, good breakfast. And the restaurant has a nice view! Staff were very friendly and ready to help. Specifically thanks for letting us checked in earlier, we were very tired after a long trip. We had a very early flight home, the driver they provided was waiting for us when we checked out. They even brought breakfast to our room at 4:45am. Highly recommended this hotel if you visit Istanbul.

The Magnaura Palace Hotel

This hotel was perfect for my friend and I. The entire staff was professional, warm and friendly and especially helpful. Their recommendations for tours and places to see was great advice! Although a very busy and tourist-packed area, the location is perfect for first-time visitors like us, who wanted to see the ancient places. We hired a private guide through the hotel who was very knowledgeable and informative. The hotel also arranged rides for us, made reservations and educated us on public transportation, which is by very good in Istanbul, and very inexpensive. The inclusive breakfast is wonderful, and the rooftop restaurant was very good with many menu choices, great service, and beautiful view of the Golden Horn and Bosphorus.

Checking into this hotel is like joining a family. They have gone the extra mile each and every day! Besides having a beautiful view of the sea we are treated to a massive breakfast array of foods! The restaurant has an unbelievable view of the most famous sights of Istanbul and the lunch and dinner menus are quite large! We went back to stay 3 different times!
