We stayed on the first floor. Lots of tobacco smoke in the air, extremely hot above 80 degrees without being able to air out the room, and loud people next door throughout the night. We bailed after the first night and I felt badly we had chosen this hotel for friends who we were meeting with in the area (they were on a different floor where it smelled like marijuana and they had the same problem with temp control). They also left after just one night. I do not have high standard for hotels in general but do expect a clean, quiet, smoke free environment. The location is good but I would strongly recommend against staying here.

Mediocre stay. Desk clerk Krystal should have compensated me for a night without tv. Tiny king bedroom, tiny fridge, construction surrounding property made the place drab. Service from the cleaning and kitchen staff excellent.

Staff was great, but I truly expected more for a Marriott as far as room and amenities, especially for that area. Room was clean but small, bathroom very outdated. Closet slider doors were wonky and didn’t slide on track properly, ironing board on its last legs. For the amount we paid per person for breakfast, I would much rather have had a buffet, that was a rip off. Why are you charging for coffee?! I wasn’t looking for a 5-star experience, but this was truly lackluster. Again, staff were good, but everything was disappointing. We will not be back.

Towel holder in bathroom positioned in such a way we had to duck to stand up when done on toilet, bathtub faucet dripped constantly even before we used it, light in elevator needed to replaced and was strobing and annoying, was told wouldnt need to move my car for thwir paving until after 12 pm, which was past check out time anyway, then got a call at 9:05 requesting I move my car NOW so pavers could do their work. Was told it had to be moved now and couldnt wait til ny meeting was over at 10am but when I left at 10:20, there was still anothwr car delaying the paving. Not horrible, but not what I expect from Marriott.
