I am so sorry to hear that the concierge team were rude, Don and Eric normally get nothing other than great comments. I would love to know specifics if you can please? We are not normally like this at all!

The hotel was almost empty. Lower prices would attract more people in way off season

This hotel was a wonderful getaway for my husband and I!!!

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, full hotel spa
Cons: nothing was free
We had a terrific time at Kananaskis Lodge. The views around the hotel were breath taking. My husband was able to go skiing while I spent time at the hotel spa. The staff was amazing and accomodated all of our requests. We left a 4 month old baby at home who was on breast milk. I was sad about having to go through all the work of pumping and pouring it down the drain. The hotel staff put the milk in a freezer so I was able to bring it all home with me. The hotel is kind of isolated, but had many dining and shopping options on its premisses. The food was a little pricey, but excellant!

beautiful getaway

We go here every year for Canada Day Long Weekend, they have a very nice celebration during that time that includes a carnival for the kids and other activities going on throughout the weekend, my kids (all under 8) love it! There are also lots of other activities for the bigger kids, we always take our bikes (you can rent), scooters, walking shoes, clubs, outdoor grass type games, baseball gloves, because there is lots of room to do these activities. There is also, tennis courts and basketball courts and a large playground. The pool is a great place to relax after a busy day. The staff is excellent and the hotel is clean. My only complaint would be that the food is a bit pricey and there is only 3 restaurants, a small general store and a snack bar in the hotels area, so if you are looking for fast food your only choice is Pizza Hut. The restaurants have very good food just pricey but children under 10 ate for free from the children's buffet for some meals. All in all, a great escape with lots of activities to keep everyone busy. In the winter, Nakiska is a great little ski hill that is only a few minutes away.

Very Nice Hotel

It was not clear on online travel website, but Delta Lodge in Kananaskis is in a remote small town. Nearest ""fast food"" for kids was 30 miles away. Lodge had several dining options like a $32 buffet that the little kids would not eat. Pizza Hut franchise food was served in the hotel. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The location was remote and would be nice get away from busy life. We went snow sking and had to drive 1 hour each way to get to our slopes, however there was a slope 3 minute drive from lodge that was built for Calgary Olympics---Down Hill Slolumn. Very nice place.

Hidden Jewel

Nothing could have been better - the room, staff, service, attention to detail, beds, food. We were very pleased and would reccommend it to others and definitely go again.\n\nThis is a beautiful property, in a gorgeous part of the Canadian Rockies. Don't miss the Kananaskis area if you are headed to Banff.\n\n\n

Nice but ready for renovations

Hotel is overall nice but is ready for some updates. Noticed ceiling falling down in pool area, and bathroom in hotel room needs updating. Very pricey dining room $$.
