The service was great and the property was extremely clean. I had no complaints other than the fact that the parking was absolutely horrendous. Its one thing that they charge your for self parking (and even more for valet) but its another thing that the garage was always booked and there was no spots for parking..and the only other spots avaliable were either for valet or COMPACT parking which made absolutely no sense because most vehicles do not fit in compact parking. Considering what we paid for the price of the hotel, complimentary parking should be complimentary. Also, I'll give the hotel a good 1 mile radius of cleanliness, anything outside of that is just trash. Alot of homelessness and construction. Traffic is terrible and the people are unforgiving. Definitely recommend staying in Overland Park or some place with a nicer community than KC.

Check-in experience was very disappointing. There were only 2 employees checking a long line of guests in so we were all waiting for a long time.Then, a group of like 10 people cut the whole line of people who had been waiting and began checking in. They took up all the available staff and extended our already long wait by another 10-15 minutes. I am VERY disappointed the staff allowed this to happen. All guests time is valuable and all guests should be treated the same.

The Loews Kansas City hotel was immaculate. The check-in process was quick and trouble-free even though we were checking in three hours early. The location is great and very close to the kc street car Kauffman stop, turning the entire downtown area from the City Market to the WWI park and Boulevard Beer into no car needed destinations.

Hotel has a nice modern look and was very clean. Front desk staff was kind and helpful. Bill that works at the Terrace yelled at one of our guests for walking around in socks not realizing what area they were in. I spoke to him and he apologized multiple times. I informed him instead of yelling out in front of other patrons, he should have approached our guest one on one to explain they could step on something to hurt themselves. There were no signs up about clothing requirements. The hostess at the Stilwell was not real kind. You need someone hosting with more personality. The hotel overall is priced too high for what you get. Nice hotel but they think they are a lot nicer than they are.

That was HANDS DOWN, the BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The cleanliness exceeded excellence and sets a whole new bar. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff was very kind. Would DEF stay here again.
