We hated to leave

The condo was bright, quiet and walkable to restaurants with good food and live entertainment. Furnishings and art work were very tasteful. Appliances were modern and updated and The washer/dryer made laundry convenient. The neighborhood was beautiful and safe. We had everything we needed for our month long stay.

Beautiful property; furnished with excellent taste

This property’s appliances are all new. The house is light-filled with brand new shades. It is conveniently located to restaurants, groceries, and entertainment. The view from the balcony is outstanding. Juan, the host, is most accommodating and easy to communicate with. I recommend this property to all comers. 5 stars!

Very enjoyable

We returned to Juan's condo July 2022 and again very much enjoyed our time there. Juan is very responsive to any need that arises, the condo is very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We loved having our boat outside our door, going snorkeling, and dining at the nearby restaurants. Hope to return again!

My best winter

Juan was very accommodating. The unit is beautiful and the decks are wonderful. There are several decks which come in very handy. Vaulted living room ceiling provides spacious feel. Will come next year as well

Juan Fernandez' condo was excellent very clean, nicely decorated and equipped.

Amazing Stay

I worked remotely from Juan's condo for a month and it was a very enjoyable experience. The apartment location is great! We enjoyed walking up and down all of the nearby canals after a long day of work. It is in a safe neighborhood around many local (and delicious!) restaurants. We had a car, but we loved that we could just walk to many places. The condo is spacious and was equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The condo community is kept up very neat! We loved going to the pool on the weekends to cool off and became friends with some of the others in the community. Juan is a great host and very responsive. We loved our stay and will be back in the future!

Beautiful apartment and attentive host

The apartment is beautiful. The location is great. During our stay the others guests and residents were very friendly. There was a slight mix up with housekeeping upon our arrival, but Juan dealt with it immediately and allowed us a late checkout as compensation. There are a few minor maintenance issues that should be dealt with, but nothing that would hamper you and your guest from having a wonderful stay. I can highly recommend this apartment and as well would certainly recommend Juan as a host if he has other properties.

great location

we (2 couples) enjoyed our stay very much, the appartement is really nice, comfortable bedrooms, we loved having our breakfast on the large balcony. brilliant place to start some tours in the keys ( wed did a snorkling tour in key largo and went to key west for a day trip). Juan is a great host, communication was excellent. we can stronly recommend his appartment.

Wonderful Views

We spent time enjoying the view of the canal and listening to music every evening on the deck ! The condo is close to several restaurants and bars . We really enjoyed kayaking at John Pennekamp State Park . My husband and son dove the Christ of the Abyss and a wreck with rainbow divers! After long busy days we where very pleased with the comfortable beds . Thanks Juan

Ruim appartement maar wel wat gedateerd.

Net appartement maar wel wat gedateerd. Helaas met lamellen die ook nog eens steeds er van af vielen. Weinig kastruimte en de kastruimte die er is stond vol met 'rommel' van de eigenaar. Wat positief is is het mooie grote balkon en uitzicht. De airco maakt erg veel lawaai en is storend voor de slaapkamer die er naast ligt. Op het complex is een erg klein zwembad aanwezig met geen enkele schaduwplek of op zijn minst een parasol. Werd ook door niemand gebruik van gemaakt. Het was netjes en we hebben een goede week gehad maar voor ons toch een volgende keer een ander accommodatie. Ps. Communicatie met de eigenaar is erg prettig en ook mochten we later vertrekken ivm onze avondvlucht.

Awesome Stay

Our friends and family have been staying in Key Largo for 3-decades. This home is perfectly maintained. It is clean. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. The location is awesome. Access to the ocean, if you have a boat, is great. The slips at the facility offer fresh water, fish cleaning tables, and the opportunity for camaraderie with others on the property. Everyone is friendly in this family-oriented environment. The amenities on the property (pool, hot tub, grills) are icing on the cake. My only suggestion is that you stay on top of the management company if you need a slip. The slips are managed separately from the listing. We had some challenges but everything worked out. We’ll definitely be back!

The property was beautiful and the location was excellent! We truly enjoyed our experience here! Juan was very responsive when we had an issue with our lock. Lovely, spacious condo. We were two couples traveling together and it worked well for us. Comfortable beds, big balcony. Being able to rent a boat slip nearby was the main reason we chose this condo. We had to use a ramp several miles away at Harry Harris Park, but once we put the boat in the water, we we able to keep it in the canal right behind the condo. The run out to the beautiful snorkeling reefs was easy from this location. There are two restaurant/bars within walking distance, and lots of shops and restaurants within a short drive. Loved our week in Key Largo!

loved it!

We loved this property. Cute and well sized and well appointed. I am a scuba diver- there is a dive shop 400 feet from the property. Two restaurants 400 feet away. Great location on the island. We almost forgot to use the pool and hot tube- but we did squuze in a soak one evening.

Wonderful location in Key Largo of this beautiful condo. Very spacious. Wrap around porch. Beautiful decor. TVs everywhere. Speedy internet. Easy parking. Will be back.

Comfortable, convenient location

A comfortable, well equipped apartment with two-floor walk-up, in a convenient Key Largo location, near to all amenities. Prior housekeeping not up to scratch (pots and and pan needed rewashing, main bedroom sheet slightly torn, trash-bin not cleared), but otherwise a pleasant stay.

Wonderful Vacation

Our stay at Port Lagos Villa was truly wonderful. Our rental unit was clean and nicely decorated. The pool was an added welcome. Given the opportunity, we would definitely comeback.
